Birthday meal

We went with my group of friends about 18 of us, we had our own area practically. The waiter did make a few mistake on our order but a little bad, but the management did give us a discount on our bill. I'm easy going but a few of my friend was annoyed and disappointed. There was 18 of us... read more

Two visits in the last two weeks convinced me that this is one of the best places in Bristol. Cocktails in the bar were great. The food was very good. Not superb, but very good. The service was top notch. Our waitress on both occasions was Marta who looked after us excellently. Her menu recommendations were spot on. Happy to... More

Used to really like the cafe area downstairs. Had great decor, comfy seating but since the refit last year it has lost its charm. Now very echoey and as a result noisy and the seating is very uncomfortable. Used to be a standout place to go on Park Street but not any more.

I returned to Goldbrick house for a hangover recovery Full English breakfast because i recalled having a great breakfast there a year or so ago. The place was empty which surprised me as it was busy last time. There was only one member of staff in the redecorated downstairs restaurant area. The orange juice was acceptable though from a carton... More

Arrived at 7.00p.m. for a 7.30 sit-down. 1st course at 8.20, mains at 9.20, dessert at 10.20. Beer in bottles, small tankards that aren't big enough. 1 glass of rose + 1 Bath Ales Dark Side = £10. 2 courses £25 in '50% off January'.

Cannot fault this place. Early dining menu is great and a fantastic price - perfect for anyone going to the theatre so needing an early meal. The cocktails were great and a good price, the barmen really knew their stuff and looked like they were having fun at the same time. Good was generous and extremely tasty and, overall, a... More

I enjoyed the food which was of a reasonable standard but it was on the skimpy side, and both food and drink were very expensive. I get the feeling it's run purely for profit, with no other consideration for customers apart from from some of the waiters and waitresses. I was particularly disappointed for the lady sitting next to me... More

New Years Eve supper blew us away! We sat in the Orangery, which has the most amazing views. The food was impeccable. The staff were so friendly. Cocktails were fantastic. We cannot wait to go back!

This is a fab location and the private function room is a gem, perfect for business or larger private functions an your own waiting staff. We had arranged to have the set Christmas menu, the quality of the food was very good and our waitress was very attentive however, there was simply not enough food! Roast Turkey with no potato...
