Visited midweek with work colleagues and it was very busy which was a good sign. Started off by taking advantage of their 2 proseccos for £8 offer in the bar whilst waitin on our table. Interesting selection which I started off by having a pulled pork doughnut, followed by a cooked to perfection steak with plenty of pepper sauce available.... More

Visited on a Thursday evening with 6 work colleagues. Started with great value 241 cocktails in the bar, Very good choice on the menu and then great food. Service with a smile despite a very busy evening due to 50% off promotion in January. Recommend for those looking for good choice of dishes in a homely environment.

I've been to this restaurant on several occasions over the years, and never graduated to having a full meal, here. Instead, I seem perfectly content to come, sit in fine and comfortable chairs across from good friends, and sup on fine tea and excellent cake. Staff are friendly and attentive, and happy to bring more of the same with just... More

I booked a large works party here for our Christmas meal and was so disappointed. We arrived and were sat on 3 different long tables. I had the duck terrine to start, it was very meaty but could have done with more bread and more salt to balance it. My main of beef, as another review noted, had obviously been... More

Visited the ground floor section with my partner and a friend of ours on a Friday evening. The burgers were really good with lovely fries and the wine was good too. The atmosphere was relaxing, the lighting just right, the service good and overall it was reasonable value for money.

I booked a private room to hold a dinner to celebrate my husband's 50 th birthday just before Christmas. A few weeks later I found out by chance that the room I had booked had been double booked for a wedding. I was being changed to a much larger room which wasn't ideal as there were only 15 of us.... Lovely place to enjoy a range of cocktails and champagne. Evening slightly spoilt by a group of very drunk people but lovely setting over several floors and really buzzing atmosphere

Just leaving GBH after a habing a few drinks with a friend. I have been here before and the atmosphere is great, really quirky. The staff in this venue that make the atmosphere so warm they are genuine and very attentive. We only went for drinks but felt a little peckish so went to check out the resturant which was... More

We had the sad experience of lunch today at the Goldbrick House in Park St, Bristol. Oh dear! It was busy with Christmas Parties and they were way out of their depth and did not cope at all. This was our experience. We, and the rest of our party ordered our three courses three days ago so there was plenty... More
