My partner and I came for a nice evening out and had a lovely time at Goldbrick House. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. The cocktail bar upstairs afterwards was the perfect end to our evening out and I would recommend it to friends

My friend brought me to the Goldbrick cocktail bar around March time and it isn't an exaggeration to say that I have faithfully returned on a weekly basis since. I was instantly charmed by the decor, changing menu and staff who are always happy to oblige my inability to make decisions. After sampling a fair selection of the drinks on... More

An absolutely first class restaurant (excellent food, atmosphere, service and value for money). It's a great venue to celebrate special occasions (our group were celebrating our 50th Birthdays this year!) and we are already looking forward to returning.

Lovely building and atmosphere. We came here early evening for cocktails. I recommend the Bramble. All were delicious, looking forward to coming back to try the food.Staff were very pleasant only drawback was that the toilets are in the basement.

I could not have wished for a better birthday meal. From the moment I got there the staff were exceptional. They all wished me happy Birthday throughout the night. We had a fantastic table in the Orangery. The food was fantastic and our waiter was really helpful. The view from the table looking over Bristol was amazing. if you haven't... More

Found this restaurant recently in Bristol. We were initially attracted by the open front and decor. The menu choices were great and the server was excellent, although as a previous reviewer mentioned, there was only one but she was pleasant and efficient. The only downside is that the loos are in the basement (which does give you a view of... More

My friends and I went to Gold Brick House to celebrate my hen night. It was a lovely evening. We were on the top floor which was lovely, light and airy. There were 16 of us, and we had opted for the early evening meal. It was very good value, and delicious. It was very relaxed, the staff were pleasant... More

Recently went to bar / brasserie area on ground floor. Food was great; not just well cooked but terrific presentation. Menu choice was also impressive. Drinks a bit pricey. Service was very friendly but just a bit slow as only one person serving. Would definitely return.

Was taken on Mother's Day Sunday, so was very busy. It is a huge Georgian building with about four floors, and unfortunately we were at the top (daughter did book rather late). They hadn't asked her if any diners were disabled - it would have been impossible to get up there. Anyway, the staff were professional and friendly. The room... More

We were taken there by a client for lunch. Fixed lunch menu which is fine, however starter 2 mouth fulls, tasty but tiny. Main I had fish in a bisque, again fine but the 20 or so lentils in t weren't going to do the job! Pleasant enough however don't go if your hungry!
