It had been ages since I ate here. To be honest the last time I went I was pretty unimpressed and didn't think I'd go back given the choice there is in Bristol. But we were meeting my cousin and his family and we needed somewhere that offered a child friendly menu and plenty of space for some boisterous boys... More

Been to the watershed before for a coffee when visiting Bristol, but we decided to go here for breakfast on Sunday morning, we arrived just before 11:30 and was advised we had to be quick and order as breakfast finishing and lunch did not start until 12:00, my daughter ordered a full english and my partner had a sausage and... and stayed for lunch, a very tasty quiche with salad. However, The Watershed's not as good as it used to be. Back in the day the menu was much more interesting and chalked up on blackboards, as was a much greater wine list. Maybe they could think about employing a few more staff as service was pretty slow. Still, it's... More

We just went for drinks. There was a lovely balcony over looking the waterside, but being a Saturday night this was full, but we still got a lovely window seat inside. We had local beverages which were lovely, albeit slightly pricey.

The member of staff that served me (man with ponytail, I'm thinking about you) was so brusque and rude on my last visit it's put me off going back. It's sad for me because the cafe is otherwise a very convenient and neutral meeting place and I've used it regularly.

i used to come here for food every week before going to the cinema. food was always amazing. however, over the last couple of years it really seems to have gone downhill. the veggie menu is really bland, it's not as flavourful as it used to be. last week i just had a baked potato with beans and cheese, and... Given stale bread with soup. Asked for it to be replaced. Told I would have to wait for fresh bread to be cut! Explained I would like it with the soup. After half an hour I returned to bar and explained what had happened to a man who might have been a manager. Slightly aggressively responded with ' so what... More

Saturday evening, prime time and chaos on the water front. With teens, hen and stag parties, big groups of loud drunken , fun loving, party goers. All what you expect in Bristol town on a Saturday until you walk upstairs into the Watershed. Wow, I'd never of thought I was still in the middle of it all. It was quiet, calm,... More

Had a lovely lunch at The Watershed on a very busy Saturday afternoon. I was worried initially by the length of the queues to order food, but my food arrived quicker than the time I queued to place the order! I had a lovely sea bream dish that was very creative, and very good value-for-money. And the service was friendly... More

Despite living in Bristol for a number of years, we had not visited the watershed before. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was really good quality. My wife had the vegetarian risotto and I had the fishcakes, we were both very pleased. It take a while for the food to come, but because the atmosphere was so great and... More
