The member of staff that served me (man with ponytail, I'm thinking about you) was so brusque and rude on my last visit it's put me off going back. It's sad for me because the cafe is otherwise a very convenient and neutral meeting place and I've used it regularly.

i used to come here for food every week before going to the cinema. food was always amazing. however, over the last couple of years it really seems to have gone downhill. the veggie menu is really bland, it's not as flavourful as it used to be. last week i just had a baked potato with beans and cheese, and... Given stale bread with soup. Asked for it to be replaced. Told I would have to wait for fresh bread to be cut! Explained I would like it with the soup. After half an hour I returned to bar and explained what had happened to a man who might have been a manager. Slightly aggressively responded with ' so what... More

Saturday evening, prime time and chaos on the water front. With teens, hen and stag parties, big groups of loud drunken , fun loving, party goers. All what you expect in Bristol town on a Saturday until you walk upstairs into the Watershed. Wow, I'd never of thought I was still in the middle of it all. It was quiet, calm,... More

Had a lovely lunch at The Watershed on a very busy Saturday afternoon. I was worried initially by the length of the queues to order food, but my food arrived quicker than the time I queued to place the order! I had a lovely sea bream dish that was very creative, and very good value-for-money. And the service was friendly... More

Despite living in Bristol for a number of years, we had not visited the watershed before. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was really good quality. My wife had the vegetarian risotto and I had the fishcakes, we were both very pleased. It take a while for the food to come, but because the atmosphere was so great and... More

We needed to rest our feet and have a drink and this was a pleasant stop. We shared a mezze board and a minted lamb pitta both if which were nicely served. Our table had a view over the water and the general ambience was quietly buzzy. Toilets were well maintained. Nice conversion of an old industrial building

The menu is smaller than I remember it but the food although a bit of a lack of choice is very good. The atmosphere is great and unlike all the other mainstream places on that stretch.

My husband and I went for a Sunday lunch in March 2014. The restaurant was nicely busy, full of families enjoying themselves. We were shown to a nice table with a good view. I like the space of the restaurant and can't help myself, but really enjoyed the nice toiletries in the toilet ( the soap and hand lotion are... More

Dear MarcelaPomphrey Many thanks for posting this review about your visit and experience, it sounds like you had a lovely time. Much as I would love to claim this review for Watershed Café/Bar I think you must have visited another of the eating establishments on the Harbourside that day as we do not have hand lotion in our toilets nor... Great location in the cinema complex in Bristols harbourside area. Spacious cafe bar with a simple snack and main course menu with a mediteranean theme. Good range of beers including some local breweries.
