Outstanding food & service!

My husband and I visited here last Saturday evening after having read all the good reviews. From the moment we sat down the waiter was attentative, he even rustled me up a cocktail that wasn't on the menu which tasted divine! Nothing was too much trouble. The food was beautifully presented and... read more

Had Sunday lunch at the Cherry Duck last week- fantastic 3 courses of delicious food with lovely wine. Great service and a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The menu choice is small with each selection beautifully cooked and presented. The location of the restaurant on the waterfront is perfect especially when it's sunny and warm! Will definitely go again.

Friendly, helpful staff and well prepared good food. We had the Sunday lunch which was traditional with a twist. There were enough options to please our whole party of 5 - a known sometimes to be fussy! The atmosphere was sunny and light. They also have the kitchen open so you can see what is going on which added to... More

There was a choice of about four starters, mains and desserts (including vegetarian) and is priced at £19.95 for 2 courses and £24.50 for 3 courses. The menu clearly changes regularly. I had tea smoked duck breast, celeriac remoulade, and morello cherry puree – excellent duck and the cherry puree was not too cloying. This was followed by perfectly cooked... More

We would normally have chosen somewhere a bit more special for our anniversary meal, but we went here for dinner on the basis of its good reviews, and were really pleasantly surprised. There is a set menu in the evenings, so not a huge choice of dishes, but everything was well-presented and tasty, with a good selection of wines. Ambience... More

We'd had a rather middling-to-low-value hotel dinner the previous night, so had booked this place for 2 of us. Plenty of parking nearby (£2.50 for evening) Email booking had not transferred to diary but we were early enough for that not to be a problem. Salmon starter was very tasty. Lamb and bream mains also were very nice. Sweets had... More

Beautiful setting with outdoors on a sunny day, and indoors with glass walls, stilish decor and quality furnishing. Food was a delight, set sunday menue with a good choice, surprisingly good price for the quality of food, and great presentation. Only broccoli might have been a bit softer then I presonally would like. Will come back any time.

We don't leave reviews but felt compelled to do so after eating here. Found the place by sheer luck and it made our night. Front of house friendly and attentive and from such a small kitchen chef served the most delicious food. Could not fault anything we had and left feeling really pleased with the whole experience. Well done guys... More

A friend and I were in Bristol for an overnight stay last night and Rachel in particular is a foodie so looked for a good harbourside restaurant for us to have dinner. Well, to say that we were impressed would be an understatement as not only was the food absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked and presented but the staff were... More
