A traditional and welcoming Deli and Cafe in the heart of Clifton. Our rustic & welcoming deli café is at the back of the deli. It’s a great place to come and sample some of the goodies that we have on offer while watching all the action in the deli. We have a café lunch menu, with specials, but you are also welcome to choose anything from the deli and we will serve it to you at your table, or equally you can just enjoy a fabulous Extract Coffee or cup of tea from the Bristol Tea Company.

Lovely Spot for a cup of tea

The food is good, the cakes are delicious. It is one of the best shops in the village. So much to buy, eat or sample!

Food to take away or there is a small cafe area at the back - had the charcuterie sharing platter - excellent. Would have had cake but was too full after my share of the platter. a good ranges of teas and the coffee was good according to my coffee loving companion

One of Clifton's Delis, the Mall Deli offers amazing quiches, sausage rolls and other pastries, scotch eggs, and other savoury snacks to take out or eat in. The meat is free range and delicious. They also do an amazing selection of cakes, flapjacks, and other treats. Loads of other stuff too, biscuits, pies, soups, cheeses, charcuterie. Served by beautiful and... More

Great Clifton cafe - we had a splendid lunch of homemade quiche, scotch eggs, delicious pea, mint & broad bean salad. The lady ( owner?) who served us was so friendly and accommodating and sitting outside In the Autumnal sunshine a treat.

Just popped in for a coffee, and lovely it was too, but came away with two of the most impressive sandwiches ever. Could not decide what we wanted so had two different ones to share as lunch while we watched the Tour of Britain up on Clifton Down. Friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable staff plus high quality food available. They... More

Met friends for coffee and cake at this nice little cafe. The cakes are ALWAYS delicious, home-made and impossible to resist. The staff are always welcoming, polite and nothing is ever too much trouble. Gets busy here at the week-ends and there's not a large seating area so come in good time if you want to eat. There's a fresh... More

I ate here with my niece recently, we had cake and drinks. I had a nice tea and a delicious slice of elderflower and raspberry cake; my niece had a juice and a cupcake from the window display. I look forward to returning for a lunch-time salad as they looked great. Service was friendly but slow, it wasn't an issue... More

On a recent visit to meet my grandchildren,we fell upon this wonderful cafe in the heart of Clifton's old town. I know how difficult it is to cater for all the family, when ages range from 3years to "old gits" but they did so with charming ease. The owner/staff were outstanding in their welcome, and the inventive and extensive menu would tempt... More

We have enjoyed coffee and lunches at this café many times. The salads are varied and very tasty, as are the various savoury lunch items. The cakes are very hard to resist.
