I came here with a date on a groupon. The atmosphere was very suited & quirky but sophisticated underground bar was unusual. We had rice & peas which were to die for. Some of the best ive ever tasted & ive travelled the caribbean. The escovitch fish was really nicely cooked, as was the oxtail & ribs. My only niggle... More

having called earlier in the day to book i was excited to try somewhere new..... but on walking into the restaurant we were greeted by a seemingly depressed waiter who took our coats and seated us. we opted for the Jamaican tapas menu for something different and ordered two cocktails. food arrived and we were generally happy with it but... My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful special birthday party at Harveys recently. It was easy to arrange and tailored to our needs down to decorations and accommodation for a live band etc. Buffet food excellent and new for many but also included traditional dishes for the less adventurous. Brilliant party venue with ample space for all activities. Chilled and... More

I recently attended a party here, and was impressed with the food, the service, and the flexibility of the space. The very low-key entrance (you could easily walk right past if you didn’t know where it was!) creates an air of exclusivity even before you get inside the place. Once inside, we found a wide range of options: there’s a... More

Attended a friend's birthday party just recently; what a great venue! Relaxed but welcoming atmosphere, and the catering and bar staff were very helpful. The food (buffet) was great, a really nice choice of West Indian dishes - beware of bones in the goat curry, though! My only gripe is the behaviour of the manager, who was rather more interested... I visited Harvey's Cellars with my family as I had heard good reports from friends and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was excellent. The menu was deceiving as the food appeared simple, but the flavours of the tapas left us wanting more. Between us all, we tasted nearly all of the... More

Visited on a Living Social deal.Despite being seasoned restaurant visitors we had never tried West Indian food. With the help of our friendly waitress we made our choices and were highly delighted. The spicy Creole prawns were superb as was the jerk chicken and stewed beef. Liked the flavour of the goat curry but too many small bones somewhat spoiled... More

We visited Harvey's jan 31st after purchasing a groupon deal for four. The atmosphere was lovely and tables were far enough apart that you weren't dining with strangers! Music playing was good and played at right volume to enjoy but not drown out conversation. The waiter we had was very attentive and pleasant. We ordered extra tapas along side our... More
