The food here is average at best, extremely poor if I was being brutally honest. We went on a Friday night and there was hardly anyone there. Luckily there was live music, thank god, otherwise it would of been awkward.

Went there a while ago now but really enjoyed the experience. Great food, excellent service and an exceptional choice of wines (as one would expect). The cellars provide an intimate location with a great atmosphere for both couples or larger groups alike. Go explore and enjoy!

Went here last night with my partner using vouchers via amazon prime. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and treated like VIPs , despite them knowing we were using a voucher. Jay showed us the Harvey's museum/memorabilia and explained the story to us, despite being in the middle of setting up for a large private party. Nothing was too... More

I've been to Haveys a few times, using the tapas and cocktails voucher. Each time the food has been cooked to perfection, the table service has been great and the cocktails are fantastic. Being that I never had a bad experience here I thought it would be the perfect place to host my mums 80th birthday. We hired the venue... More

I used to visit this venue many years ago when it was also an underground museum, based in tunnels under the centre of Bristol, with many historic drink related items, and ending in a recreation if a 16th century wine bar. Sadly this is now no longer there as far as I know. We visited last night because we had... More

This restaurant is tucked away in a side street, but what a great find! We had tapas and cocktails before a show. The food was delicious and well presented and the cocktails so good, we had to have a couple! Add to this the charming, helpful staff ...... we are planning a return visit soon.

The tapas portions were very generous and the cocktails delicious. We left totally satisfied with what had been an excellent meal, having expected more like an appetiser. We did get a bargain price, but even the regular menu seems very reasonable. Jazz in a neighbouring room was enjoyable but not intrusive. Location is excellent for central Bristol (especially pre-theatre –just... More

I chose Harveys as I though it had a good reputation, but I was left feeling disappointed. This was meant to be a special occasion, but to be honest I should have gone to one of the more reliable restaurants in Bristol. The food was average, the restaurant is more of a bar area and it wasn't the nice surroundings... More
