Birthday celebration..

This was my second visit to the Townhouse, but this time it was with family for a special birthday. I couldn't fault the food or the service received from the staff. There were two large tables upstairs which delayed our main meal by over an hour. This wasn't the best but I always judge on how... read more

If you are looking for a warm welcome and excellent value then you can't do much better than the town house three course for £12! great choices even for my veggie pal! We even sneaked a cheeky expresso martini one of the best I have had! Real mix of couples, friends and a large family room upstairs - park at... More

Good value three-course lunch midweek for £10. The restaurant is bistro style and informal. Nice and clean with interesting decor. Friendly good waiter service. Booking recommended.

Excellent food, and it caters brilliantly for coeliacs which takes a bit of stress out of dinner when taking afflicted family members for dinner. Great service, and brilliant location.

We hired the private dining room of the townhouse for a 30th birthday party and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely, especially as they were serving 30 people and the menu was excellent value. What really made it was the service, it was perfect, attentive and efficient. Thank you Townhouse for an exceptional afternoon! Would recommend to anyone!!

My meal at The Townhouse was very pleasant; the Welsh squid was nicely prepared and the fish of the day was delicious. The wine list is quite short but has something worthwhile at every price point. For dessert I had a nice cheese selection. Overall it was a satisfying experience.

I visited The Townhouse just yesterday with my girlfriend for her birthday thinking it was a good choice as I'm coeliac and we were in town for one night. The serving team seemed a bit all over the place with wrong menus, wrongly marked wine prices and a lack of knowledge on what the gluten free alterations were. This alone... More

We booked The Townhouse for our Christmas party and you never know if the food is going to be up to normal standard when you get Christmas menus but there was no need to worry. The food and service was excellent as always. I don't know one person in Bristol who doesn't love this restaurant.

I visited the townhouse on Dec 12th for my mums birthday. There was 10 of us. We had the large table at the top of the stairs near the toilets, which was good as lots of space but it lacked atmosphere as there was no music and quite an empty and forgotten location (decor wise). We preordered from Xmas menu... More

The food was good but the service was excellent. From the Barman to the Waiters/Waitresses the staff could not have been more friendly & professional. Also The Townhouse provided good value for money. Thank you all!!
