Good food at great price

Visited with family on a Friday night. Ordered food and once waitress left we decided we wanted extra bread and olives. Waitress quickly sorted this out with no trouble. We had all ordered steak cooked to varying tastes and they actually came out cooked to what we ordered which is a task with my... read more

Reading some of the reviews you may be think twice about going there you'd be making a mistake. Please give this restaurant a try it is a little gem offering very good food at very affordable prices with good friendly service. This was a first time visit for us and won't be our last.

Last night I visited Townhouse for the second time in a month, and around the 10th time in a year. Normall I love it in there - they do a fantastic gluten free menu which my two gluten intolerant friends love, they have a brilliant set menu with generous portions, and their service is quick, unpretentious and friendly. Last night,... More

I've been to The Townhouse a couple of times now and was impressed both times! Food is delicious, amazing quality and incredible value! There are deals such as 3 courses for £10 from 12-7 and this cheap price in no way reflects the quality! In the evenings they still do a set menu 3 courses for £22 and every course... More

Staying for the weekend in Bristol, this restaurant just happened to be nearby. What luck. I went for supper with my daughter, prepared for the usual culinary compromises as I am a coeliac. But what a refreshing surprise.... Coeliac? Not a problem. Contamination? Really not a problem. Even chips? We have a separate frier, of course! Too good to be... More

Continues to be the best value for money in Bristol. 3 courses of excellent food for £10. Who can argue with that but get there before 7pm to get this price. Friendly and still great value for money after 7pm.

£10 for 3 course lunch menu, couldn't complain at all. I put the food in the "very good pub food" category. Service and surrounding were equally good. Recommend fish and chips and Mushrooms on Toast

Hen party of 12 visited after cocktails close by and this was great. I dropped off some table decorations and the team did a wonderful job of decorating while we were partying a few doors away. We ate from the set menu, great value at £20 and the food was amazing. Fab service, attentive and great fun. Thanks town house... More

Visited the Townhouse for Sunday lunch as they offer a gluten free roast, in fact the gluten free options on the menu are numerous. As I have Coeliac disease, avoiding gluten is essential. The Sunday roast arrived, how disappointing, two wafer thin slices of meat, in fact thinner than a wafer, 3 potatoes and a small amount of vegetables in... More
