Went here on a deal 3 courses for £10, portions were small and when we asked for ice cream instead of cream with our chocolate cake it was far too much trouble. The steak was only a very small portion. Was a poor deal, very disappointed.

I was given a surprise birthday lunch at this delightful resturant. We all experienced the 3 course menu for £10. The staff were friendly, the food delicious, the atmosphere relaxing. What else could you ask for - perhaps making it a more regular occurance.

I booked the events room upstairs for my parents Surprise 25th anniversary dinner party for 25 people and everyone had an amazing time! The food was superb as well as the service from the lovely friendly staff. They couldn't do enough for all of us! No mistakes whatsoever. The room decor was vintage and classic. We were allowed to decorate... More

Friendly staff, nice location on Wjhiteladies Road with and outside terrace (in summer). Excellent food well cooked and served. Their £10 three course lunch is so much better than The Cowshed opposite!

I've just come back from a gorgeous dinner with my partner after a recommendation from his brother who frequently dines here. I had the mushroom & poached egg starter with seafood linguini for mains and it was delicious! The food was cooked to perfection, the staff very attentive and a very comfortable welcoming atmosphere. I would definetly eat here again!

Went to the townhouse to take advantage of the lunch menu offer; 2 courses for £8.90 or 3 for 10. They offer q wide range of options and almost everything is included within the naive price point, was only the scallops which required a supplement. The mushrooms on toast was well cooked and the right size for a quick starter... More

We were wandering around looking for somewhere to eat lunch & stopped due to the noticeboard advertising the £10.00 3 course luncheon. Good starter of Scallops, which were nice -but the sauce around them was a bit overbearing (there was a £4 surcharge on these which I didn't notice on the menu)I chose a main of pork belly which tasted... Went for a milestone birthday with daughters & partners (5 plus a 6-weeks-old baby) and had the club room all for ourselves (seats 30 dining/80 for a party) on first floor. Service was excellent, and attended to by a very pretty, attentive & polite waitress. The menu and drinks list caters for all tastes. It's got this Bristol thing going... More

Was walking by and stopped due to the noticeboard advertising the £10 3 course lunch. Excellent value (Whiteladies Road is great for good value lunches) and I had that with a good value carafe of wine. Faultless starter of rare roast beef on beef dripping toast, good mussels (although fries were your normal bought in variety) and lovely dessert. I... More

We were taken to the Townhouse by my father-in-law who had never been before. When we arrived, it was about half-full and the three of us were shown to a rather small table in the corner. Not the greatest of starts, but luckily the food made up for it. We went straight for the roasts, and they were as good... More
