No real complaints, just not very impressed. The service was fine, and nobody had anything bad to say about food or wine. It was a bit annoying that I couldn't pay by card. I wouldn't avoid a return, but i would not especially recommend it.

Don't quite understand why this review has to be written under a restaurant name that no longer exists, can you please sort this out because it is not a satisfactory situation for either the owners or your regular reviewers. Anyway, visited last Saturday evening with our two grandchildren, aged 6 & 10, and had a very good meal. The children... More

Went a few months back before it changed hands, perfect pizza and perfect chicken and pasta dish. Went a week ago... Oh dear not the same. Terrible pizza and mains. Won't be going back. The food is not the same. Sorry.

I booked a table for my boyfriends birthday as we had been here before and really liked it. However, the service was very, very slow and the waiter wasn't very apologetic about it at all. We were a group of 10 and only half the starters arrived, when we complained the rest came about 20 minutes later and again the... More

Salvatore's Kitchen closed and re-opened as "Don Camillo" under new management in November 2013 - exact same address, many familiar faces serving, but a new name on the sign outside and a new website. My wife and I had an excellent meal here last week but it doesn't make much sense to write that up in detail until TripAdvisor archives... More

Visited this italian on a friday night, there was 10 adults and 2 bambinos and cannot explain how accomodating they were. They made us a table so the prams could tuck away nicely. Food was amazing, and very reasonable. The restaurant is family ran and is such a breath of fresh air. This place is a gem and if you... More

All the reviews are true! This is a wonderful neighbourhood, family run Italian with excellent food and service. The risotto was wonderful and veal cooked to perfection. The abundant servings of pudding required a doggy bag! Can't recommend this pace highly enough.

We went there with some friends midweek for a catch up and had a very pleasant evening. We have been there before and had a good time then too. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and took our drinks order quickly. There were a couple of tables occupied, and I noticed they were doing a special offer on Pizza which... More

I came into Bristol at 2200 on a Sunday looking for food and finding most places closing when I came across this lovely little restaurant. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I started with bruschetta with Italian sausage and had spaghetti carbonara as the main course. I highly recommend them.
