Reliable!

Great aromatic Indian cooking! Unpretentious, friendly, welcoming, tucked inside the community! Good cider. Tasty thali selection, yum!

We have eaten here 3 times on weekend trips to Bristol. The serving staff are helpful and friendly. The food is all delicious. Tasty, healthy and masses of choices for vegetarians. The dhosa is an experience!

I have been to quite a few Thali cafe's and this one is the best. Its got a good atmosphere and space. If you want a meal or a coffee you don't have to worry about being seated... unless its a weekend evening. The food is good, same standard as other cafe's but this one has some nice outside seating... More

just the place for a brunch or light lunch I had masala dosa. or you could go for one of the larger Thali meals There seems to be a lot more meat on the menu nowadays Like most of the restaraunts in this area of bristol it caters mostly to locals, and in this particular case guardian readers. The food... More

Not sure what all the fuss is about. They don't seem to season their food properly and it's pretty pricey.

Very charming but , food is just average chain food, the service was friendly and the colours and decor nice but not really my cup of tea.

Tried this cafe as it was close by and so pleased I did. The food's reasonably priced and very tasty. The Thali Express menu is ideal for quick lunch breaks, but the full menu looks good if you have more time or go for an evening meal. Some lunch tables were reserved but it was easy to get served as... More

We live in Tetbury about 25miles from The Thali. And we are pensioners not youngsters. But we just love it. Not only the superb 'different' menu but the whole buzz of the place. It is an experience rather than just somewhere to eat. The cross section of interesting people that come and go is just fascinating and they all seem... More

Went here for our works night out. Food was nice but I did not think it was anything too special considering the price. Service was slow - waited nearly 10 minutes each time I ordered a drink and some mistakes with our orders. However it did have a nice atmosphere and the food was nice.
