Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent cafe group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Whiteladies previous incarnation was as a record shop which may have something to do with its distinct retro feel it has. Lots of comfy sofas, plenty of space & amazing artwork.

Food Disappointment

I have been to Boston Tea Party a few times, generally just for a coffee and maybe a yummy scone. However this time I chose to order the Ultimate Burger main for lunch. I have to say I was quite disappointed. The size of the burger was very small for the price! The burger patty could only fill out... read more

I generally have found the staff at the Whiteladies Road BTP very friendly. I quite like the atmosphere there and it has been one of my favourite cafes to visit as i live in the area. Recently i have found the tone and attitude of some of the staff has changed. One of the young cafe attendants realised that i... More

I don't know where to start to explain how sorry I feel to know about what happened. This is unacceptable and there can't be any sort of justification about. We are now investigating and I guarantee the members of the staff involved is no longer working with us, because there is no space for close-minded people not only in this... More

The food took an hour to come, was cold when arriving and it wasn't even busy, very unhappy with this store. Upon arrival we ordered smoothies, that were essentially milk, and then watched a variety of meals come to tables who arrived after us. When our food did arrive one meal came, and the others 10 minutes after, very disappointing.

Ordered 3 lunches and were kept waiting for an hour without being notified prior to order that there would be a long wait. However staff were quite considerate and did offer a free beverage each. Would hesitate to visit when busy as system clearly can't cope.

First of all let me say I'm mortified about your experience in here. We work very hard to avoid this kind of situations but this time we definitely failed and I guarantee I will do my best to sort the problem out, because I can obviously understand your point of view and it's definitely unacceptable. I am afraid about product quality that you recieved. We make all our products in house and are normally pleased with the results, but we have clearly missed the mark on this occasion. I will of course be investigating the complaint, so let me say thank you for your comment. We believe in great customer service and products, and I... More

6 o'clock in the evening is an odd time to be looking for a snack. Some restaurants are not open some coffee shops are closing, so I was pleased to find Boston Tea Party open and serving huge and tasty toasties. At this time of year it's great to sit on the front bench with the windows all wide open... More

Luke warm coffee, slow service and expensive food. Much better independent coffee shops in Bristol. Wont be going back.
