Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent cafe group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Whiteladies previous incarnation was as a record shop which may have something to do with its distinct retro feel it has. Lots of comfy sofas, plenty of space & amazing artwork.

Wonderful chaos

Always busy, always packed, and always a bit chaotic but worth the effort, as they deserve their popularity. Great coffee ... makes Starbucks seem insipid by comparison, and really very good food for a chain coffee shop ... it actually is much more than one would expect. Free wifi means that... read more

Luke warm coffee, slow service and expensive food. Much better independent coffee shops in Bristol. Wont be going back.

Look, I know that they have recently undergone a refurb lasting a few weeks so that the serving counter could face the front instead of the side (wow). However, this in no way explains the bland milky excuse for coffee & tepid hot chocolate that you served up. Have a word with yourselves BTP, you used to be decent.

I popped into this branch of BTP some weeks ago, solo, on what I thought was a quiet Saturday afternoon, hoping everyone would be in a pub somewhere, watching the rugby. I was wrong! Coming through the doors, I was faced with a sea of people. Oddly, or so I thought, I was called through the masses to place an... More

We visited Boston Tea Party in Whiteladies road Bristol on February 6th for lunch. We received a warm welcome by the staff and prompt service. The food was good, but the experience was marred by a certain lack of personal hygiene by one of the staff his finger nails were DIRTY! The toilets were not in a clean condition, we... More

I thought Boston Tea Party was just another fashionable coffee shop - but I've now seen lots of branches, so they are a growing chain. I don't know what their theme is, but they pride themselves on being green and sustainable etc and in fact you can taste that they use good ingredients. It is not just beverages here, they... More

I had the most delicious cheese burger full of herbs and very tasty and deliciously crispy chips and an interesting salad of red cabbage and raisins. Firstly I had a fresh orange juice and then a seriously good cup of coffee. There were so many tempting home made cakes which I only just managed to resist as everyone around me... More

Lovely coffee. Friendly staff and some very good sandwiches. All at a reasonable price. All in all a place to remember and return to. .

We went here on my wife's birthday / New Year's Eve and entered the cafe with a blur to look at, queued and were trying to read the menu on one wall (high up with quite small writing) when we're served we said we wanted 4 West Country English breakfasts were told by man that the way it works here... I had mistakenly avoided this place because it was a chain. However it was the only place open at 7.30 in the morning so I thought I'd give it a try and I was very happily surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The staff seem to enjoy working there and are really engaging... More
