Delightful in every way!

We have dined here several times and the English version of Tapas is amazing. The food is presented beautifully, tastes wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We visited here for a Sunday roast which had promised to be the best Sunday roast in Bristol. Having tried to book on numerous occasions with no luck I was excited when we were able to get a table .... I quickly regretted our choice of venue. Staff were on the whole helpful and friendly, if a little inexperienced -... More

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch although I must say it wasn't amazing. Staff are super friendly and informative. Sunday lunch is served in a novel way on one large board for the table to share. Beef wasn't overly tasty, although generous number of slices. Lamb a little fatty. Veg was abundant but parsnips undercooked. All in all a good... More

We took advantage of sunny winter day and sat outside. The restaurant has what is probably the best spot for sun on Whiteladies Rd without being right on the road. We had the 3-course set menu for £10 and we were stuffed! The food was good and we will definitely be back to try the tapas menu.

This place was recommended by staff at the Cowshed nearby, who were fully booked for lunch today. As it turns out we were very lucky to get a table here and we so glad that we did - definitely the best roast dinner we’ve ever had. The local organic meats (we had beef and pork) were unbelievably tasty and tender,... More

Possibly a victims of their own success, but after today's experience I could not recommend Brace and Brown's for Sunday roast. After calling in the morning to make a reservation and leaving a message, the call was not returned. Eventually managing to book a table on the second attempt of trying, we arrived and were sat downstairs in the dark,... More

After we had to reschedule our works 'do' to lunchtime on Tues 23rd Dec we were a bit worried there wouldn't be much atmosphere as most people in the area were off work and/or had gone away. It was quiet when we arrived but other people started to trickle in and the glasses of fizz made us feel very welcome... More

I've been to Brace & Browns a number of times for drinks as its an excellent place to go during the summer months with its large decking at the front and great variety of drinks. A number of my friends said that I should try the Sunday roast as they are the best, but never had the chance till last... More
