Wondering Why We Keep Winning Awards Lately? Do you remember when food used to taste amazing? Days before the supermarkets piled in with their frozen, pre-packaged chemical concoctions. I remember when my Granddad used to make even simple toast & butter taste incredible; thick slices of freshly baked bread, smothered in real salted butter and it used to taste... Just oh so amazing! But somewhere down the line, we've lost this. It seems everyday food's all about speed, microwaves and pre-packaged. What? Day-to-day, we've now become used to bland, tasteless food, to the point where some basic fast food can even be classed as "tasty". I'm not having it...

We booked here because all the other restaurants we wanted to go to were fully booked. I was a little nervous of the menu having had a disastrous meal at the similar tapas style menu at Bell's Diner. This restaurant never fails to please - great welcome, friendly service and amazing food in a lovely environment. AND to top it off they had a stall at the Tobacco Factory Market in Southville the next day (Sunday) where I bought some delicious chocolate and raspberry brownies and a tasty quiche. Hope this becomes a permanent fixture for them.

Went with a party of 14 of us and had a lovely evening. Were provided with tasters of various elements of their menu all of which were delicious, particularly the crabcakes for starter and the belly pork main! Would definitely recommend this place for a lovely meal away from the mainstream chains. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff friendly.... More

Had Sunday Lunch here with 3 friends. The service was attentive but not pushy, The food was excellent. I had beetroot & apple soup to start which was very tasty & my friends had mussels which they enjoyed. There was a good choice of roasts - chicken, pork, beef or nut roast with veg and yorkshire pudding or alternatively haddock... More

Had lunch at chin chin and would definitely recommend it. It's a small cafe that's decorated beautifully with friendly and efficient staff. The food was tasty and I particularly enjoyed the pulled pork scotch egg - a must!!!

I've been eating at Chin Chin since it opened, and it has always been fantastic. Yesterday we went for the first time since they switched to a tapas style menu, and it was really really good. Everything we tried was delicious and the service was top notch.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Perfect if you like to try lots of foods and a boutique atmosphere. Great espresso martini! We went for dinner but will be back for brunch and Sunday lunch.
