Wondering Why We Keep Winning Awards Lately? Do you remember when food used to taste amazing? Days before the supermarkets piled in with their frozen, pre-packaged chemical concoctions. I remember when my Granddad used to make even simple toast & butter taste incredible; thick slices of freshly baked bread, smothered in real salted butter and it used to taste... Just oh so amazing! But somewhere down the line, we've lost this. It seems everyday food's all about speed, microwaves and pre-packaged. What? Day-to-day, we've now become used to bland, tasteless food, to the point where some basic fast food can even be classed as "tasty". I'm not having it...

Family visit to Bristol and my daughter wanted us to taste some real good British cooking. Well Chin! Chin! Provided that and more. Small place so make reservations. Dishes didn't match so that was the first indication that the food would be good. Food is served Tapas style with many choices to order from. Good apps, entrees, and veggies. Bread... More

Food was the best I've had at a restaurant/cafe in ages! Our food was pre-chosen by the host of our party and when our waiter overheard that two of us were vegetarian he brought out extra vegetarian dishes that were all delicious. Impressed by the excellent customer service and efforts from the staff. Even though the venue is tinier than... More

We came here for a Birthday meal with a group of friends that we enjoyed very much. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a Banquet selection of different foods to share all of which we enjoyed. The plates that were tea cup saucers were a nice touch in keeping with the restaurants decor... More

I was looking for a place for Christmas party with my colleagues and Chin!Chin! appeared as a good opportunity, because of really high rating about the food. So I went to check it and I wasn't quite excited about it. The style is different and interesting, but probably is just not my place. My problem was that it looks more... More

What a lovely find! We went here for a fantastic meal, the service was first class and the food was excellent. You choose several dishes to share just like tapas but with British food! The quality of the food was superb and there was a good choice of food available. Couldn't fault the place, lovely ambiance, vintage feel and friendly... More

This is a small yet beautiful restaurant in St. Michael's Hill. The decoration has a vintage character. Staff is always friendly. The food is delicious and coffee is good. You should try their home made ginger beer. If the service was a faster, I would have given 5 stars.

A warm welcome, lots of smiley faces gives a great first impression which got better through the tea, sandwiches and cakes. Beautiful and eclectic cups, saucers and plates, make the servings even more colourful. Sandwiches were delicious, freshly made, mature cheddar and chive, salmon, hummus and some ham thrown in for good measure. Freshly made scones, with jam and fresh... More
