We've been going to this cafe for about 15 years now. We haven't lived in Bristol since 2009, but make sure we go whenever we're in town visiting friends and family. Consistently great food, great service, great value, great coffee, great place!

True enough it's not expensive and the food is good if you're looking for a sandwich, panini, jacket potato or a nice cake but honestly...once number 2 restaurant in Bristol? Definitely not, there's nothing here to set the world alight and a lot of other places I'd go before cafe Amore, sorry guys!

I love this place! Great paninis freshly made and very friendly staff. It gets so busy but they always take the time to find you a table. Very reasonably priced too. Whenever I'm in the centre of Bristol I'll always head there for lunch!

That is no exaggeration. From the moment you walk in the door it is brilliant. The decor is fantastic - walls covered in authentic enamel advertising signs, beautiful lighting and crystal clear mirrors gives it an air of cosiness and cleanliness. You never find a table that hasn't been instantly cleared of other peoples crockery etc and cleaned. The service... More

We love Cafe Amore! It's definitely one of the best placse to get a quick lunch in the centre of Bristol. It's unpretentious, cosy and really good value for money. A nice little oasis to get away from the chaos of Saturday shopping. The sandwiches are beasts and the coffee is good too. The walls are covered in old advertisement... More

I was so impressed with the staff at Cafe Amore. Really friendly and responsive. I was shocked to hear that their boss refuses to pay trainee workers. One woman who politely asked to be paid her legal entitlement to the minimum wage for working 28 hours was threatened with being physically removed by the boss! I won't be going there... More
