Super choice of tea and coffee. Excellent location in Clifton Village. Staff were well presented and very helpful.

We arrived in Clifton with a couple of hours to kill before flight from Bristol. It was a sunny day and couldn't get a table outside a number of adjacent cafes - I then picked the worst café ever to go into. Against our better judgement we ordered food as we were very hungry. This experience was hugely offensive. We went there in May 2012 and were hoping to share a light lunch and coffees with friends. Unfortunately, what we were faced with was rude (odd) staff who seemed incapable of serving food and drinks at the same time. Furthermore, the order was wrong and came out in ten minute intervals. A friend ordered... More

Formally a very masculine and sombre place to have coffee, I have noticed that a new team and I suspect, new management, has brought this place to life. My husband and I are devout regulars, especially on a sunday when we know we can bring our dog and our two small children to enjoy great coffee, delicious cakes and read... More
