I have had a couple of fantastic dining experiences here but yesterday, sadly, did not match up to previous meals. The service was very under par, long wait between starter and main course and I had to chase up a glass of wine that had never materialised. Amazing food but very expensive. Go for it on a special occasion but i definitely couldn't make it a regular occurrence.

My partner and I had a meal at Farrells in Keynsham on Saturday evening. We were unable to get through on the phone so had to visit the restaurant to book. It is popular and we could only book for 5 or 9pm. We chose the later booking due to work commitments. We were seated straight away and served drinks.... More

Went to Farrell's with my mum and 2 sisters. The food was really delicious and the portions were substantial. My mum couldn't finish her beef casserole and they were happy to box it up for her to take home. My chips were lovely. So fresh and hot. ? Triple cooked maybe. Service was attentive and efficient. The only negative comment... More

Perhaps I have become a snob? I recently attended an "Irish" evening and was enchanted by music and dancing but left feeling that my previous cautions about quality had not been heeded? Although the food was generally quite good, it had lost touches of sophistication and there was much more emphasis to quantity than quality Perhaps Keynsham may trend towards... More
