Just had a fabulous Sunday Roast, lovely meat, lovely fresh veg and plenty of everything as usual. Kids extremely well catered for and again as usual a great service with friendly staff 5 star rating once again.

My partner and I checked in to the Old Manor Hotel and decided to eat out. This restaurant is amazing, from the welcome-service-food-coffee, all amazing. Great to see the chefs cooking our meals, fresh ingredients and presentable chefs. Great choice of beers, quite a few Peroni's. could have sat in here all evening, saying that the manager was so hospitable...

A Saturday night 7.30 table booked for six. Were seated at the back of the busy restaurant in the conservatory area. Our actual table consisted of three smaller ones pushed together, one of which was very sticky. My friend called the waiter as she found this off-putting - she was simply told that it was clean, and that complete new...

Visited on several occasions when working away, always pleasant with a very good and varied menu and a welcoming staff. The food has a twist of Ireland embodied in Italian staple menu. As a group we have dropped in and been accommodated with ease. Eating out most weeks around the uk this comes towards the top with a good menu,...

Farrells is one of a handful of restaurants in Keynsham, most the rest of them below average, so there's not much competition. However, the ambience was lively and bustling when we went there, and the service was terrific: attentive, swift and very friendly.
The food was nice, but not spectacular. Our chicken parfait starter was pleasant, with an onion marmalade,...

A first visit and the Irish / Italian theme looked interesting. My assessment is based on a lunchtime menu so may differ from eating here in the evening.
As mentioned in the title, if I sit at a table and the whole surface feels sticky I find it to be a big turnoff. Maybe its some form of cleaning fluid...

Visited Farrell's for a business related lunch on a Friday afternoon. My guest had been here before but I hadn't, even as I walked in I was very impressed, this restaurant transports you out of Keynsham! I recommend parking in the council car park down the street (40p for 2 hours!).
On entering was swiftly seated and offered a drink...

Visited on a very busy Saturday night. Limited choice of lager and no real ale. The menu included lots of choice and service was very good and friendly. Food was well cooked and enjoyable. There was a good atmosphere and buzz. One downside was the price of the drinks which was hotel prices e.g. £4.50 for a pint and £7...

Visited early on a Friday evening, first impressions were good, warm and tables well spaced, unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations, considering the top end pricing, the sea bass filled could not have been much smaller! But possibly the worst aspect was how quickly the main followed the starter, 5 mins maximum, this does not make for...
