With its loft upstairs and a few tables downstairs, as well as good food served attentively, Marco's Olive Branch should be on everyone's list for a cute romantic Italian restaurant in Bristol. We went there because the concierge at our hotel had recommended it and we were pleasantly surprised. It's run by an Italian family, who complete the cozy decor... More

We came here on a recommendation from a friend who lived her for a time. We were very happy with everything. The wax dripped candles in wine bottles gave the decor that very authentic feeling. We loved the little upstairs and windows. The food was great, there was a small mis-communication with our waitress about our starter. We just wanted... More

A quick check off my Tripadvisor app and I was heading to find this little gem! I found a table by the window upstairs and within an hour the place was packed! (And this on a Monday evening)! I ordered a pint of Peroni, a starter of olives and bread and the Olive Tree pizza to follow. It was all... More

What a fantastic evening & food, really disappointed with myself for not having written this review sooner as they deserved an immediate post as they most certainly should be higher in the Bristol ranking as they are. This must be one of the busiest evening in their calendar and therefore if food was to pull up short it would have... More

I found this restaurant hard to grade. The restaurant itself is attractive and quirky and the atmosphere was lively. Our meals were enjoyable (pizzas and spaghetti carbonara) but nothing special. The waiter was pleasant. We ordered some garlic bread to go with our main course which did not arrive. When we enquired, we were told they were very busy and... More

This restaurant remains a favourite of ours. The staff are very friendly and the food imaginative and the wine list simple but good and well priced. Definitely worth trying if you like a different slant on Italian food!

Had dinner here on a weeknight. At first felt rather quiet as we were the only ones in, but the upstairs restaurant soon filled up and the atmosphere became much more lively. Olives starter were lovely. Pizzas for main, which were good, if not as covered in topping as some i have had before. Prices not cheap, but not bad,... More

We were recommended to come here by a friend but were really disappointed with the whole experience. We visited on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was quite busy and we were squashed in rather like sardines but, having said that, the atmosphere was quite lively. It took a while for anyone to come and take our drinks order and when... More

We decided to try as we were passing. Normally the resturant is closed on a sat afternoon but they were open for a hen do. The food was ok. Slightly over priced. We orderd hand cut chips and were given oven chips. When questioned were told they don't have any hand cut chips. The veg was dry. The meat was... More

We enjoyed the Sardinian food here and the reastaurant was warm and cosy, on a cold night. The olive starter and bread was pleasant, but the olives were pretty standard - we hoped for something a bit more special. The Sardinian fruit juices are worth a try - the pear juice went down well.
