We were recommended this restaurant by the receptionist at our hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Staff were very welcoming and the food delicious. There is a very nice ambience - ideal for a romantic meal. Will definitely return when next in Bristol. Menu is varied and well priced.

My husband took me to Marco's Olive Branch last night for my birthday. The Sardinian waiter and Greek waitress were both really nice. The atmosphere was good and it was fairly busy. The service was good and the food was fantastic. We both had the carpaccio to start which was delicious. I had the seabass ravioli with a salad and... More

Good food, good atmosphere, nice staff. Would recommend if you are staying close to the Novotel, holiday inn express.

Wonderful food. We thought we would give this small restaurant a go as it was near the hotel. We came back the next night and would have done so on the third night if they had been open. Great to sit outside and eat. I love sea food and both meals I had were excellent, so were those my partner.... More

We dined on Saturday 27th Dec and were initially given a table upstairs by the window. When we asked to be moved to the other side of the room as it was chilly (they are big, bare windows) we were immediately offered a table downstairs by the open fire which was so cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful,... More

Great food, lovely family feel and sitting on the top floor feels so open because of all the windows. Treated my boyfriend to dinner here for his birthday and we both loved it (he had seafood spaghetti and I had salmon and avocado calzone, both were so delicious!). I booked a table in the window on a Saturday, I expected... More

We went for a family meal after previously having some fantastic takeaway pizzas from here. Lovely food. Friendly staff. Great wine. Rather relaxed staff but who's in a hurry anyway?

An early evening booking for 22, which due to illness went down to 18! No problem for the staff. We had half of the upstairs of this restaurant, the staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for us. The food & wine flowed! We had pre-booked the Christmas menu, what a delight even though busy nothing too much for them! At... More

Having organised a girlie weekend away at Bristol and being left with responsibility of sorting out dinner led to a conundrum. Based on reviews we booked Marco's Olive Branch - and what a find. Prompt reply to booking confirming our reservation. Warm welcome on arrival. Fabulous authentic menu and great advice from Daniel. Starters - calamari, Sardinian bread, Crevettes and... More

Visited again last night and enjoyed a lovely meal. The place doesn't look overly inviting from outside, but once ensconced upstairs it is a hive of activity and good food! Very noisy but so much fun. Have eaten here 4 or 5 times when on business in Bristol because it's so convenient to the Holiday Inn. Highly recommended.
