Great

What a fantastic little restaurant. Great, friendly service and lovely food. We decided to pop in for a quick lunch before football. The restaurant was not busy but still had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and fresh. The dessert we chose was tiramisu. It was lovely and... read more

I called to order a takeaway from here and then went to collect it. I went to the bar and was told it wouldn't be long. I sat and waited for 10 minutes at the bar only for them to finally say that a pizza box that I had been sat next to at the bar was my pizza, which... More

I couldn't fault Di Meo. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Extensive menu and specials, first class service, authentic delicious food beautifully prepared. Felt magically transported to Italy as we walked through the door. Warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back. I will be craving the brandy and peppercorn fillet steak until I return. Easy to park... More

As we are local we eat here a lot. It's a great little cosy neighbourhood owner-run Trattoria with friendly service & excellent food at good prices. The house red which is served by the carafe or half-carafe is really very good & there are top rate wines at a reasonable cost. The veal dishes are particularly good.

Went with a group of lads from football including a few Italians who recommended it. Having eaten here a week after a holiday to Rome, this felt so authentic. Great food with a reasonable range on the menu of pizza and pasta, very nice atmosphere, and serenaded by one of the waiters playing an acoustic guitar

As a large group We were after something cheap and quick to eat before heading out. We wondered past this place and popped our heads through the door. It's not much to look at from the outside and very simple on the inside. The menus look cheap and the prices are to (especially what you get) The staff were happy... More

Great food, nice little place. Now visit it regularly. But ""fussy"" people and those who label themselves "foodies" should probably stay away.

Our visits to Di Meo are always a delight! You really feel that you are transported to some Italian hill town for the 2 or 3 hours that you can linger over your meal. The food is authentic, simple and very reasonably priced and the service is efficient and friendly, accompanied sometimes by live guitar music and singing from one... More

Celebrated a birthday in a group of eight. Ambience, table setting and Italian music were lovely. More home-cooking style, and food could have been presented far better. Considering it was just the elderly owner serving, we didn't wait long for the food. Maybe it was just a rare off day, but apart from the 'special of the day' lamb in... More

Great food, excellent service and fantastic vibe! My boyfriend and I can't get enough and always go for dinner there! The owner and the waiters are very friendly and it has a very quaint but authentic Italian feel. Definitely excellent value for money!
