Bright and colourful, the Souk Kitchen on North Street is a vibrant eatery that has brought a brand new style of dining to the Bristol restaurant scene. Encouraging people to share and to try new things, the menu at the Souk Kitchen is filled with small plates, mezze, dips, tagines, salads and grill dishes that are inspired by the traditional souks of Damascus, Marrakech and Beirut. Created using aromatic produce such as preserved lemons, tahini, honey and orange blossom, this is a stellar, moreish menu that you and your family and friends will love. The dcor at the Souk Kitchen is an eclectic mix of candy-coloured wallpaper and shelves stacked with ingredients including couscous, saffron and rosewater.

Went there on a recommendation, and had the nicest lunch I'd had for years. Wonderful flavours, beautifully cooked and presented, and completely different from the mainstream. We're leaving Bristol soon but we recently discovered Souk Kitchen and have been back several times since. The atmosphere is great, as is the food. The 'sharing platter' starter is amazing. The wines are very good too.

Delicious breakfast and great lunch time deal. The style is very moderns so not for everyones taste (my parents didn't like it). I would go there any time.

After many visits here I'm yet to be disappointed in the food, wine or service. Always absolute top quality food, very helpful and friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

The food was very delicious and great value for money. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and had a good range of dishes to pick from. Would be 5* based on food. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great - staff were friendly enough but our table wasn't ready on time and they got my order slightly wrong. We also had to help... More

On a short visit to Bristol we were lucky enough to get a table. It was one of the most delicious meals we have had. The flavours were amazing. I had a lamb dish and the lamb was so tender and served with an interesting salad - not really sure what was in it but was superb. My husband had... More

Had lunch before going to the Tobacco a Factory opposite. Good job we booked in advance as we watched many people being turned away. Food was excellent. Starter of dips and bread very tasty and my fish of the day was great. Staff very helpful and attentive, very happy to explain the menu. Good value and we got to the... More

Just been with a group of friends. This is the kind of food I wish I could cook - fresh and unusual ingredients blended with amazing herbs and spices to produce delicious flavours. We got a selection of mezzes to start and none disappointed. We were full after mains though I was sad to turn down a dessert as they... More

I've always had great food in here, breakfast, lunch and dinner. it's great because it's something I wouldn't or couldn't cook at home. it's not bargain basement but it's not expensive and the food is so good it's got to be great value. this is the only place I've ever eaten twice in one day. some say the portions aren't... Lovely food as usual at Souk kitchen. I have eaten here a lot and the food and service is usually spot on. This time the service let it down a little, our waiter didn't seem interested at all! More interested in chatting behind the bar, we tried for 10 minutes to get eye contact with someone, not offered more drinks,... More
