Bright and colourful, the Souk Kitchen on North Street is a vibrant eatery that has brought a brand new style of dining to the Bristol restaurant scene. Encouraging people to share and to try new things, the menu at the Souk Kitchen is filled with small plates, mezze, dips, tagines, salads and grill dishes that are inspired by the traditional souks of Damascus, Marrakech and Beirut. Created using aromatic produce such as preserved lemons, tahini, honey and orange blossom, this is a stellar, moreish menu that you and your family and friends will love. This was the food highlight of our trip to Bristol. Slightly off the beaten track, we wandered over here for lunch and it was easy to find. The food was wonderful, lovely flavours and interesting combinations. I enjoyed some mixed salads and my husband had the chicken thighs. They were both tasty but the portions were small, my husband was... More

A friend and I had a rather late lunch here as most other places were no longer serving. The service was efficient and the food was very good. I will certainly go back.

We had pork and chicken souvlaki plus the chef's dips with pitta bread which wasnt generous. The dips were quite nice and unique in flavour. However the souvlaki was rather small. The tzatziki served with the souvlaki was acrually very nicebut the cumin potatoes were very disappointing as they were just french fries with sprinkled cumin on top. Quite pricey... More

It was busy during lunchtime which is always a good sign. The lunch menu was competitively priced. The food was well presented and extremely tasty. Would recommend.

I live over the other side of Bristol, but when the opportunity presents itself I will always come here. Pre-theatre dinner with three friends who hadn't eaten at Souk. The food was tremendously good, the service impeccable (never felt rushed), and my three friends were knocked out by the flavours - all perfume and aroma: gorgeous. Two friends are immediately... My wife and I went one Tuesday lunchtime in March. When we entered Souk Kitchen, shortly after 12pm, there were already two other couples sat down. The place is airy, atmospheric and open and it's great place for people watching, especially if you sit by the windows. You can also view the kitchen and see all the food being prepared... More

Some of the most flavoursome food I've had in a long time. A great selection of drinks and a very relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a catch up with good friends!

Not being an aficionado of North African food, I simply didn't know what to expect, but the whole experience was very good Simple unfussy "canteen" eating area, had for the first time roasted duck's hearts great dish and super crispy lamb shoulder. Good wine and fabulous coffee. Incredibly swift service.
