Bright and colourful, the Souk Kitchen on North Street is a vibrant eatery that has brought a brand new style of dining to the Bristol restaurant scene. Encouraging people to share and to try new things, the menu at the Souk Kitchen is filled with small plates, mezze, dips, tagines, salads and grill dishes that are inspired by the traditional souks of Damascus, Marrakech and Beirut. Created using aromatic produce such as preserved lemons, tahini, honey and orange blossom, this is a stellar, moreish menu that you and your family and friends will love. The dcor at the Souk Kitchen is an eclectic mix of candy-coloured wallpaper and shelves stacked with ingredients including couscous, saffron and rosewater.

Went there last night to celebrate my birthday with family and two friends. Friendly service and a good atmosphere. We all had a fantastic meal - every single dish we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Everyone raved about it and we would definitely go back again. Thanks for making the evening a success.

High hopes for this place after local recommendation and reviews. Valentines night dinner was bit average really not expected. Flatbreads and dips excellent but mains - moussaka and lamb skewers - pretty average. Service friendly but whole place lacked bit of sparkle and atmosphere. Lamb skewers on same level as some much more average run down places in London. Wouldn't... More

Scrummy Persian food, great service and good pricing! Friendly staff who are to willing to help you choose what to eat and are allergy minded...i'm a ceoliac (gluten free) and the staff were very helpful in offering me alternatives. Magic!

Didn't expect much from the outside but went in and ate the cuisine and tbh probably one of the most flavoursome meals I have ever had. Tender meat and everything nicely cooked and even the staff were very patient and helpful to my partner who struggled to understand what was on the menu. Recommended.

I love this place and I go there every time I'm in town. The food never disappoints. The menu is inventive and packed with healthy but tasty dishes. The service is impeccable. The desserts are lush, the rose rice pudding specially. Some of the best food I've had. Period

You can't go wrong with this place. Every time I've been, every single person has been amazed with the food that they ordered. It's one of those rare places where pretty much everything on the menu tastes ridiculously delicious. Enough said.

This restaurant is always busy so book in advance is my advice. Tasty hot mezze dishes are my favourite but the mains are all very appetising with daily specials to try too. If you like Middle Eastern spices then this place is for you. The chicken skewers are one of my favourites and the rice is so yummy too. Don't... More

Having previously been here for lunch we decided to revisit for dinner. Drinks orders were taken very quickly and the juice I had was really good. The hot mezze we ordered was excellent, so many delicious flavours. The mains were large portions, my mixed grill was lovely, it was a shame I couldn't finish it! The desserts were amazing, I...
