Been here a few times now and the food is soooo tasty. Service is good too, friendly but not over the top. I've had the same vegetarian option each time which is lovely, but perhaps it would be nice to have a little more choice as a vege. Highly recommended...would be nicer if a slightly larger venue, not much space.

Souk Kitchen is opposite the Tobacco Factory on North Street, a road that has gradually been transformed into a nice mix of local shops and places to eat - it reminds me of Clifton Village before it became a bit too gentrified and lost some of its interesting and eccentric charms. We were here a few days ago, two vegetarians... More

We visited this little gem over the easter. Its a small restaurant so you need to book. It was definitely the best middle eastern food i've ever had. The kebab skewers where mouth watering. The choices of desserts could be better but overall we would definitely go back. A must if coming to Bristol.

My wife loved this place and I could see why. To me (gastronomically more conservative) its as close as you'll get to eating 'off piste' in the third world (in other words seriously off the tourist trail)... but without any of the risks - if you see what I mean! The food is very different, and just not like what... More

Just gorgeous. Really great Middle Eastern food, fresh, fantastic flavours, desperately moorish. We went pre theatre and found the service to be good, efficient and helpful ( though I agree with an earlier reviewer, verging on the weird at times) It's all very 'Formica topped tables' and certainly not flash in any way but if you love Ottolenghi you'll love... Just had pre-theatre dinner here tonight and the food was lovely, really tasty and a unique choice for the area. Great flavours and portion sizes although a little expensive for the area of you ask me. I have to regrettably say it was some of the weirdest service I have ever encountered in a restaurant in Bristol or the UK... More

Wonderful, exotic food- for meat eaters & vegetarians alike; varied and tasty, lots of new dishes to try. Friendly, amusing staff- able to give great advice on food & drink. Relaxing, warm place to spend time with friends & family- well worth a visit.

It's all been said before... Despite my sister living only 5 minutes from this fabulous neighbourhood restaurant, she had never been. I, on the other hand, live in Yorkshire and recently visited (with my big sis) for the third time. My sister, her boyfriend and I are all veggie. What a delight to find somewhere with so many veggie options... More

Mezes are delicious and intersting mains have a great mix of flavours, in this small but charming casual eatery near the Tobacco Factory. It is now open from 5.30 which is helpful given the enforced TF queues but booking is essential.

Popped into Souk Kitchen for early supper to celebrate our first date several years ago! (Not here though, it's only been around about 5 or so I think). Been a while since we ate here and remember it being nice but not this nice! Fab flavours and quick service despite being busy (although the Maitre D doesn't smile much). Had... More
