Description: UK Deli of the Year 2011/2012 and Bristol Best Deli 2012 & 2013. We were chosen for the emphasis we place on having friendly approachable staff, our ethos on using local products, hosting regular tasting events and on stocking interesting, exciting and most importantly, tasty deli food. We also have a cafe as well as outside seating and are open 7 days a week, so next time you are in Clifton Village come along to the UK's top deli and try one of our great sandwiches or why not share a tasting platter of olives, charcuterie, artisan cheeses & breads with a glass of one of our favourite wines. Gift hampers are also a speciality of the deli and are a great way to let somebody know that you're thinking of them, whatever the occasion. At Arch House Deli we have a range of gift hampers to cater for different tastes and budgets. All hampers are individually made and gift wrapped to order.

We recently popped in on the spur of the moment for a quick lunch. It was a sunny day & we could have sat outside but chose to keep cool inside. It is very informal you order from the deli counter and grab your own large bottle of tap water. We had their speciality 'Tom's pies from Devon' - Steak... More

I received fantastic customer service when I made an error when booking tickets for one of the deli's great cheese and wine tasting events. The deli went above and beyond to resolve the issue for me. I would definitely recommend the deli to others!

First off I'm only giving them 4/5 rather than 5/5 as the service was naff - with long queues inside and a real wait on drinks being brought out. The place is good and I'm looking forward to coming back - I plan to take pals who have not been Delicious sandwiches, cakes and drinks are on offer plus there... More

An attractive deli which has won numerous awards (including deli of the year). Quite busy when we called - so had a slight wait. Delicious food.

We came for a cheese and wine tasting night in march. We had a fab time eating the different cheeses, with each one being matched with an appropriate wine. The guys running it were very helpful and enthusiastic and i would definately reccommend this event to others!

David Greenman from The Arch House Deli came to give us a very interesting evening - tasting nine different cheeses from the UK and Europe with different breads. He gave a very informative talk on each cheese. Although we provided our own wine, David gave examples of the best wines to compliment the cheeses. Would highly recommend for a work... More

Visiting a place more than once or on a regular basis , a new review should give others a good insight to what a brilliant village deli/cafe should be like. Breakfast consists of wonderful tasting breads with either marmalade and Jam (you can also buy a pot or 2 to take home) , along with a tasty coffee. Lunch can... More

Was concerned it might be a pretentious ponse fest- in keeping with much of Clifton- but no. Awesome sandwich, friendly and attentive staff. Nice selection of drinks. Top marks!

Ideas for your day in Clifton village should start with a light breakfast at the deli cafe, either a ham/cheese filled croissant, toast made with beautiful bread from Hobbs, or brioche. Followed by fantastic tasting coffee or tea. Don't forget to look at all the beautiful pottery items on display. Finish off with a look at the Deli products, cheese,... More

Hello Nick Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and in particular the Chilli Billy sandwiches. Apologies about the tables not being cleared as quickly as we'd like. We have spoken to the team and have altered our approach so that this shouldn't be an issue in the future. Regards David More
