Menu consists of small plates that you can mix and match. Always interesting. The big draw though is the wine list, which is excellent.

Great little find - beautiful food, lovely wine selection and buzzy atmosphere without being overwhelming. Staff friendly and it was great to have some unusually dishes on the menu.

Friends of mine from Chepstow invited me to this lovely little restaurant. We spend a marvellous time together because everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the wines were great. The place is cosy and the staff is very competent. To make it short: a very recommentable place to dine out...!!!!

Went for lunch with 7 others and the manager could not have been more helpful and efficient. Food was expertly cooked although the choice was very limited. The gooseberry fool was to die for and there were only clean plates at the end of each course.

We mostly had the £9.99 lunch deal. The onglet steak for the main course was delicious, tender and full of flavour, nice wine at a reasonable price

loved the food, that was 5 star and we are believers in you pay for what you get, Staff were great although a little under dressed for a Saturday night. One seemingly higher ranking member had shoddy trainers on!! Prices were on the higher end, which we didnt mnd, but the boring simplistic decor let it down heavily for us.... More

This is one of my favourites restaurants in Bristol. The food they serve is really interesting and different. There is a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly.

Daily change of menu, can order more as you go. Fantastic wine seletion. Fantastic sevice. Amazingly scrummy food. Lovely evening atmosphere. What else could you want? We left planning when we would go next (always a good sign). We left very happy.

Tapas has become main stream. I have eaten too many patatas bravas and grilled chorizo. So Flinty Red is the ideal, what you get is tapas style food, with interest, freshness and variety. The variety is the key, daily changing dishes, which can be ordered as small plates or larger main course plates. I have tried both options and much... More

Food was good, but not really good, and was overpriced for what you got. Shame. Will try again in another season!
