We'd heard good things and tried to get in by just walking in off the street a few times but were always told there would be a long wait so were really excited when some friends booked a table. We were seated immediately, ordered drinks and filled in our forms which was fun and something a bit different. The food... More

The service was pretty good; fast friendly and efficient. It is a bit of a ‘novelty’ I suppose where you get to pick the type of meat (prime, bore, pork, chicken, lamb etc) then toppings, type of fries, salad and sauces. The actual burger was pretty good, I had the prime burger with pulled pork, which was tasty and perfectly... More

As a vegetarian burgers are usually hit and miss, but at the burger joint they are excellent. The tick list for burger type, toppings, sauces, sides etc means you always end up trying a new combination. Portions are large so be hungry when you go.

After reading some of the previous reviews we were a little wary about our visit.. How wrong can reviews be! The food was excellent, quick and the service first class! The best burger I think I've ever had with endless choices to mix it up a bit! Would highly recommend.

The Burger Joint is an amazing place. I don’t know how I have managed not to come here before. It is a proper restaurant – a really nice environment – with the astonishingly cheap prices of a dive. And the quality of the food would leave many "posher" and more expensive places in its trail. As one of the reviews... More

Visited as part of a group of 30. The visit was prebooked with all our menu choices in advance. We knew we were in trouble when they only started cooking all the food 20mins after we arrived. We had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for our food. When we complained the owner was very aggressive and blamed us... More

Made a return visit here recently & the burgers are still the best in the South West! The choice of meats is outstanding ( I had a wild boar burger ) & side orders are diverse & plentiful. A good choice of local ales & premium lagers will help to wash down your burger! The venue is always busy, so... More

Known to be operating at full capacity over weekends, my friends booked ahead. Unfortunately, a swarm of take away orders caused a delay in the kitchen and hence, our table was not ready when we arrived. While asked to wait for about 15 minutes, the very friendly waiter told us a round of any first drinks was on the house.... More
