Starters of three diners all disappointing. Asparagus dry and proscutto so crisp it could only be eaten with fingers. Main course duck parpadelle fantastic flavour but very small portions for main course meal. Have eaten much better in Bristol at other Italian restaurants and it didnt help that there was no atmosphere as we were the only table occupied. Service... More

Prosecco is a wonderful modern style Italian and I love it for it's modern interpretation of Italian rather than the stagnated usual run of mill of the road Italian Restauants elsewhere around the country. I have always found the menu has good selection of choices although I've never tried any of the budget voucher menu? That another reviewer commented on.... More

My partner and I visited Prosecco on Good Friday for lunch. We enjoyed an excellent main course and desert. I had the prawn linguine with a brandy sauce and partner enjoyed the duck parpadelle. The only critic we had of our meal was the size of the cocktails when they arrived. We both ordered cocktails and at nearly £15 for... More

Unfortunately I live 40 miles away from Bristol, but had the pleasure of eating lunch at Prosecco about 18 months ago. I didn't get around to reviewing this meal, but we have talked about the Duck Parppadelle since. My Husband and I were in in Bristol this evening on an unplanned trip, so we phoned the restaurant and they squeezed... More

My wife and I bought a Travelzoo voucher to dine here, and remembered it from it's success in Gordon Ramsay's "The F Word". A few weeks earlier, we'd bought a voucher for a six-course tasting menu at a restaurant in nearby Cotham (Both meals cost roughly the same, and there was a substantial overlap between the two menus). The six... More

Owing to my previous visit here I decided to purchase a travelzoo voucher. With a limited menu I would expect them to produce top quality food. Bland is all I've got to say. Never to return. Clifton has a lot better to offer.

A quiet Monday evening in late November ....so we were happy to find somewhere open and welcoming. The service standard was excellent and it was hard to fault the food although equally hard to rave about it. The starter of mozzarella, warm chestnuts and chorizo was a little unbalanced with only 5 small slices of meat, 3 small balls of... More
