Description: The Blaise Restaurant is located within the Henbury Lodge Hotel in the Henbury area of Bristol. A grand Georgian building with immaculate white painted façade, Henbury Lodge is set within beautifully kept gardens, which can be seen from The Blaise Restaurant’s French doors, thrown open in the summer to allow for access to the terrace where BBQs make the most of good weather and bucolic surroundings. Inside the restaurant is clean and neutral with a splash of glamour in the gilt framed mirrors and sparkling chandeliers, seating upholstered in brown leather and original features including a stone fireplace and plaster cornicing. With two AA Rosettes to its name, The Blaise Restaurant offers a very special fine dining menu based around locally sourced produce, all beautifully presented and with a modern European meets British flavour, the concise selection allowing for each dish to shine individually.

Sooo cheap for this quality! We are going to stay here to put on more weight asap! Hotel charming, staff just the same, shopping just around the corner. No brainer!

A nice hotel, well maintained. Our room was a nice blend of traditional with modern extras. The bathroom had been refitted with modern fittings and was a pleasure. We had one evening meal at the restaurant which was very well prepared. The staff were the best aspect, who were friendly, attentive, but not intrusive.

My company use this hotel for visitors and colleagues due to it's location to our office. It's a tad pricier than some other Best Westerns but worth it for the "upgrade". I have stopped here on about 4 or 5 occasions for the odd night or two and the service, food and rooms are always of very high standard. I... More

We had three rooms for a couple of nights to attend a wedding nearby. The rooms are nicely decorated, well laid out, with modern bathrooms, and all well equipped. The hotel is in a quiet 'village' outside Bristol, in pleasant surroundings and with a nice garden. We had dinner on arrival - and this was really good - we chose... More

Another great stay at the Henbury Lodge. This is my third visit to this hotel, and like the other times, it's been a fantastic experience. I was in room 4 this time at the front overlooking the car park. Huge room with a double and single bed. Really modern bathroom with shower. The food is excellent at both dinner time... More

Stayed one night at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Room reasonable, clean, well equipped and with an excellent ensuite bathroom. Reasonably quiet - hint - get a room on the side or rear because the front may be noisy due to road noise, Enjoyed an excellent dinner in the... More

This is the second time I have stayed here. As before, the staff were great and it was a lovely place to stay. This time I stayed in a room in a building separate from the main building. It was a lovely room but needs thicker curtains rather than thin blinds. I will definitely stay here again, food good and... More

Both Hotel and restaurant in this quiet part west of the city deserve to be recognised for first class service and good food. We have stayed several times and sampled at least three of the rooms. Last night however was our first dine in. What a pleasant surprise. I can't recommend Henbury Lodge highly enough.

My wife and I stayed one night and we could not fault the visit at all. Friendly, very approachable staff (including beautiful King Charles Cavalier Spaniel)and nothing too much trouble. We only had breakfast, which was excellent, as we were eating out, but fellow guests (very friendly bunch) very complimentary! Room, very spacious and comfortable. What more could you want.... More
