My wife, a friend and I recently visited here. On arrival it is clear the decor could benefit from a little updating. However we were quickly met by our waiter and guided to our table. He was cheerful and seemed knowledgable about what was available and gave knowledgable descriptions of the various specials. I had the homemade Italian sausage special... More

Just thinking about our meal here makes my mouth water as the food was so fresh and delicious. I opted for the risotto as I usually have pasta but fancied a change. My husband is a bit of a pizza freak and his pizza was large enough for two, so I even sneaked a portion of this as it looked... More

We had dinner here last night and were expecting great things given all the fantastic reviews. The main courses we had were lovely and very tasty. The bread and oil we ordered to nibble at until the main came was really poor. The oil and vinegar were clearly quite cheap low grade ones which you wouldn't expect to be served... More

Had a very enjoyable meal here, mid week, as we were staying in a hotel nearby. The food was excellent (I had the lasagne), service was friendly and attentive. The decor may not be that plush but the restaurant was busy and there was a nice atmosphere, so not an issue. Well recommended.

It's quite local and our go to when it has to be Italian. Had my partners 50th there. They opened early for us. Decorated the table. Catered for 20 plus and all served together and hot and tasty.

During an extended stay in Bristol we ate at Don Giovanni's 3 times. We enjoyed it very much each time. We loved the mushroom starter and the pizza. Also the risotto is very good as are the side salads. Try dessert also. Any of them. I only ordered wine by the glass, and it was good also. I would suggest... More

Since my last review here we have been several times and every time has been equally fantastic! I have pre booked each time we have visited so not to be disappointed . Our last visit I took my parents, who said " Its the best steak and meal we can remember " . Once again the food was amazing (locally... More

Booked last minute on a saturday night and they kindly accomodated. Food was brilliant and service second to none. I felt like they went out of their way to ensure our evening was enjoyed.

Very good restaurant that offers great value for money. Food deliciously cooked with attention to detail. Service could be tiny bit more efficient or at least let customer know if there is delay. Very good overall

The food was lovely and all freshly made, however, the restaurant was lacking in atmosphere so we did not stay long
