I came here for my 30th with my family and it was brilliant from start to finish. Mark looked after us very well and my two young nephews were catered for with smaller portions of food and colouring books to draw in. The food was excellent, the most tender Sunday lunch lamb I've ever had, and top marks from everyone... More

Fabulous Food and excellent service. Chefs specials add variety to the menu. There us usually the local woburn venison on the menu too. If you are booking for a Friday or Saturday evening give 3-4 weeks notice as often fully booked. Our favourite restaurant for special occasions.

The food was tepid at best so all in all not a great experience. Didn't complain as didn't want to upset... More

I have been a regular at the Birch for quite some time. It was my wife's 60th Birthday and i thought the Birch would be the prefect place to celebrate with a group of friends. I called the Birch and asked to book a table of 14. I was swiftly rejected and told that if they gave me a table... More

Have been to the Birch at Woburn (as well as its sister restaurant at Ireland - Shefford) a number of times and always enjoyed an excellent meal Service is good - menu sensibly priced - comfortable seating layout - good selection of wines. Although the restaurant is usually busy one never feels rushed.Good friendly atmosphere

Our first time at The Birch in the pretty village of Woburn with our family. Partly a celebration of just being together but also my Husbands birthday treat. We all enjoyed our lunch, 2 roasts, a sea bass and a chicken and mushroom pie. The staff were extremely helpful when asked to provide some hot water to heat our Grand... More
