Very pleasant dinner

We visited at 1800 on a Friday, 3 adults and a toddler. The place was surprisingly quiet. We were warmly welcomed, staff very pleasant and friendly. Our large collection of food allergies was no problem at all. Everyone said their food was very nice - my fish and chips was lovely. I had a Malbec by... read more

Normally a busy, lively place with good food. We had a disappointing lunch which was a couple of drinks and some average sandwiches. The bread was too thick for the filling and the beef sandwiches were the sort that forced you to open them up and fiddle with pulling fat off. The place was empty which was unusual.

Firstly thank you for your feedback, I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your dining experience on this occasion. We have recently made some changes to our menu and the style of bread we have been serving has been one of these changes, however we have now returned to our original bread due to customer feedback. Let me... More

Came here for lunch on Sunday A very basic pub menu, Not a great choice for non meat eaters. Ended up having a cheese and chutney sandwich. A decent amount of cheese but about a teaspoon of chutney in the whole sandwich. Good service from the two ladies who were not only serving in the restaurant but serving in the... More

We stayed at the hotel. For the money it was actually pretty comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and it was a good breakfast they served. However, as Woburn is quite quiet, the hotel closed its bar & restaurant at 5pm. Not the end of the world, though, as there's a couple of pubs to choose from and... More

Popped in on the off chance to see if we could obtain a table for 2 for an impromptu Sunday Lunch and so glad we did. Lovely welcome and prompt service and delicious food. A charming place and faultless service. I wold definitely recommend and will be going back soon with some friends as I was most impressed.

We wanted to stay not too far from Milton Keynes and found Longs Inn; not quiet sure what to expect as mixed reviews. Our bedroom was newly painted (rather slapdash and smelt of paint) but clean and fresh. The bed was rather rickety but comfortable. The toilet had a saniflow which, whilst appreciating installing plumping in old buildings can be... More

This is an ancient inn currently undergoing refurbishment. We had booked a twin room on the ground floor but were asked if we wouldn't mind taking a double room upstairs which we did. This was a mistake because access to our room was up very steep, narrow stairs as befitting an ancient inn but with no suitable hand rail. Would... More
