Friendly service, good food,

Visited on a busy Wednesday evening. I was dining alone and they managed to fit me in, I did have to sit on a table laid for 6 as that was all that was available. The service was friendly and not too in your face. The food was good I had the garlic mushrooms to start but requested no stilton,... read more

Staying down the road from Garway Moon Inn, we found ourselves this evening without food in the house as we didn't pass an open supermarket during our travels today. With 11 of us to feed, we out a call into the Garway Moon. Neil the landlord took my call, was very helpful, and was able at short notice to fit... More

The meal we have just experienced at the Garway Moon at Garway was exquisite, Several of us had the salmon as a starter I had the seabass as the main course, The food was fabulous, and the accompanying vegetables were varied and beautifully presented and cooked. Highly recommended!!!

Stopped in for a pub Sunday roast. Expected good pub food, the food far exceeded this. Had three courses, all excellent. The staff were very friendly and great with my two year old. Really nicely decorated, traditional pub.

Lovely little country pub with a nice warm atmosphere. Had the Espetada meal..definitely recommend it for the cool skewer and generous portion. Decent range of local ciders. Went when the rugby was on and they had a big screen with a decent amount of locals in to make the atmosphere. Also child friendly with a decent range of games and... More

We decided to do a pub walk on the spur of the moment and chose Garway. We parked in the pub car park and had coffee , we sat next to the fire and chatted to the landlord while we had our drinks. We said we were going to do a walk and go back later for lunch. When I... More

I visited the Moon soon after it changed hands and was unsure about whether it's new owners could revive the pub (located as it is some way off the beaten track) and make it shine once more. However a much more recent visit proved a most pleasing experience. The licensee and his wife greeted us with genuine warmth, were attentive,... More

Food was lovely and all locally sourced. The service was really good and the atmosphere in the pub was nice and friendly. There was plenty of choice for even the most discerning of diners. Will definately be calling into this restaurant again when in the area!
