Always busy and getting busier

This café started off as a knitting shop and has developed as a very popular café, especially for the women in the area. They are open for long hours. The food, coffee and tea are all really good, home made, and added to that, they are served in/on good quality china.

A friend and I decided to try Crafty Knitwits for lunch during the week, it was busy but there were several empty tables, some with reserved signs on. Whilst lining up at the counter, a waitress asked us if we had reserved a table, because if we had not, there would be nowhere for us to sit. Not a good... More

Our daughter in Law booked this Tea and Craft shop for us to have one of their Devonshire Teas. My wife loves Wool and Craft shops and had a lovely time browsing the various wools etc and we were served by a very knowledgable assistant only to be very let down when we went into their Tea Shop, we had... My wife and I visited Crafty Knitwits and were treated by some friends to a `High Tea` at the establishment. We enjoyed the experience very much indeed, the café part of the establishment was very clean, tidy and well presented, the serving staff were competent and attentive and the quality of the fare was excellent. The items of food presented... More

Using extra space within a business to create further income is a sensible idea and one that has proven to be successful in garden centres, for instance, where one can get a coffee and a bite to eat while contemplating the roses! The difference between that business idea and the cafe I am reviewing is that the cafes in garden... More

lovely little cafe which is part of a shop selling wool. Have some lovely looking teas and cakes. we had coffee and one piece of tea cake which was lovely. Friendly service. Provided in old fashioned china and they set out the table very prettily. A nice touch. Lovely place to sit down for a while and feel good in... More

This delightful cafe situated in a woo/craft shop serves the most delicious old fashioned 'high tea' along with other treats. Club sandwiches, butterfly cakes, scones and cream, sausages rolls to name just a few treats reminiscent of the 'good old days'. Cups are china, table clothes embroidered. Its truly worth a visit. They will also make up goodies to take... More

Absolutely a must to try out. Takes you back in time old english cuppa tea and yum yums. A change from the usual. Great service and busy. Felt I could be dining with the Queen.

We have dined at this Cafe several times and it always exceeds our expectations. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, due to the cafe having been incorporated into the wool section of the shop. The tables are dressed with lovely mis-matched linens and cultery giving the table a homely feel reminiscent to having afternoon tea with my grandmother. We have... More

We'd seen this place from the street last time we went out for lunch at a café in Milford, so decided to try it this time. We didn't realise it was so popular! Two friends and I arrived at around 1pm to find the place humming. There weren't any spare tables, so we stood for about five minutes, when someone... More
