Wonderful

Was in Salzburg on business and went for a lunch. Found a beautiful little restaurant off the main stretch and had the local speciality Deer Goulash, Herb Dumpling and red cabbage. Tasted so good and well priced. Just what I needed to escape the cold outside. The owners were dressed in local attire... read more

I found the service curt and slightly rude. When we walked in as a family we were given the twice over as if they were determining if we were acceptable as guests. The prices for traditional Austrian food are about 2-3 times what you find in Vienna and the quality and presentation of the food is very basic and appears... More

We stopped in wanting a light snack & beer, the place was cozy & warm, service attentive. It is communal seating, and 2 people were later debated with us. It was pleasant. We ordered the small plates, which were huge, too much food. But good hearty German food. The sauerkraut was great.

Just slightly off the Griedgasse finding it can be difficult. It is classic. The interior oozes with character, the service is warm and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Our meals were excellent and the portion size was large. I love schnitzel and have never had it served stuffed. Possibly my best meal on this trip. My girlfriend had... More

We were with a large group of 38 when we decided to try this restaurant on a whim as we walked by on a tour. Our guide, Curt, spoke with the manager to see if he could accommodate all of us at once. He graciously agreed. Much to our delight, the service and food was wonderful. What a special experience.... More

We happened upon this restaurant quite by accident as we wandered the streets of Salzburg last week. The atmosphere, service, and especially the food was excellent. We would highly recommend making this a stop while in the area!

ZWM is a very authentic little restaurant, frequented by many of the residents of Sulzburg. The prices are quite reasonable and, though not up to the gourmet standards of other better known establishments in town, it is realiably good. The pizza has a bit too much crust, but is quite tasty. The salads are excellent.
