Nice place to meet up with family walking the West Highland Way. Easy for the support team to get to. Good pub food but the portions are not for the faint hearted. A family restaurant. Pleasant friendly staff.

Stopped here for lunch on the first day of walking part of the West Highland Way. Having walked from Milngavie in a little over 2 hours we had built up quite an appetite, despite this we simply could not finish the massive portions of food delivered to us. We all enjoyed the good, honest pub food served up, but were... More

Had a small snack after a distillery tour down the street. The lamb broth was quick, simple and delicious as well as the veggie pakora. The picnic style tables outside were perfect for the sunny day that it was. Sweet staff!

A great family place, great food, great service, huge portions. Lovely gardens with plenty of tables, a great play area for kids with some animals.

Stopped here on way back from Callendar. Staff were brilliant lots to do lovely garden, play area for kids and animals. Weather not great so we opted for inside..Toilets clean but food was lovely, except for the chips strangely. I opted to try the wild boar burger and when it arrived I was glad I had not had a starter,... More

Stopped here while walking the west highland way. We were told we had to wait 45 minutes for our food but it appeared 5 mins after we ordered. Safe to say the burger I ordered the roll was hard on the outside. Waiter didn't even tell us where to get the salt and vinegar. Had to ask another customer where... More

We decided to try out this restaurant whilst staying in a hotel locally. This restaurant is about 15 minutes from our house and having driven past it several times over the years and believing it to be shut down, we never gave it another thought until we discovered that it had been open all along. The service and the food... More

Stopped here for dinner after visiting the Glengoyne Distillery, which is about a mile down the road. Food was good but was a little overpriced however there is a great outdoor area with picnic tables and a play area for kids, so a good choice if you fancy a pint (8 draft beers to choose from) and a meal and... Stopped here for a quick lunch on day 1 walking the West Highland Way. Had a cheese & coleslaw hoagie plus a pint of Belhaven Black stout. All very pleasant and much appreciated.
