Having eaten at this restaurant three times in the past few months, on each occasion we felt the price of the meal exceeded its value and were surprised at how rude the manager was. The waiters who work here are extremely polite and friendly, but the management completely lets the place down. She was very short, grumpy and was rude... More

I have been to the Beach tree inn a number of times and have had a couple of bad experiences in the past and wasn't expecting much I really think the management should have a look at somewhere like the eagle lodge in Bishopbriggs because they have far better food and the staff are so so friendly and most surprisingly... Went to Beech Tree Inn last night with family for dinner, food was tasteless , didn't complain as had visitors with us from USA and preferred not to cause a fuss. Even though it was a very hot , there was no ice available for our drinks, the onion rings were dripping with grease and the haddock was tasteless. Such... More

We used to frequent The Beech Tree Inn on a regular basis until a couple of years ago when we had a rather poor meal and decided to take our custom elsewhere. As it was our wedding anniversary today we decided to be nostalgic and go back to The Beech Tree Inn for a meal with our granddaughter. The grounds... More

We dropped in on Friday 11th July for a bar meal - NEVER AGAIN. We were served by a very pleaseant girl and that is the only positive i have to mention. The older female behind the bar was very condesending and spoke to the rest of the staff in a horrible manner. The food was appalling, the starter was... More

Nice place to meet up with family walking the West Highland Way. Easy for the support team to get to. Good pub food but the portions are not for the faint hearted. A family restaurant. Pleasant friendly staff.

Stopped here for lunch on the first day of walking part of the West Highland Way. Having walked from Milngavie in a little over 2 hours we had built up quite an appetite, despite this we simply could not finish the massive portions of food delivered to us. We all enjoyed the good, honest pub food served up, but were... More

Had a small snack after a distillery tour down the street. The lamb broth was quick, simple and delicious as well as the veggie pakora. The picnic style tables outside were perfect for the sunny day that it was. Sweet staff!

Weather not great so we opted for inside..Toilets clean but food was lovely, except for the chips strangely.
