OH, dear, this is awful. I am so sorry. I am not sure if this is a joke. It would be hard for ALL of those things to go wrong at the same time. I know the manager and he is very caring and cares about the customers. I cannot not imagine him being anything but nice. He has always... More

I was at Edom for the day visiting the cemetery and doing clean up. All I wanted was a glass of something cold after a long day in the sun. Driven by the Shed many times and relatives have eaten at restaurant. Edom is small and not a lot of choices. Off to the Shed I went. Walked in Ahhh... More

We enjoyed the home style cooking at "The Shed". Very busy on a Saturday, for lunch, so service was a little slow. I enjoyed the chicken fried chicken with fried squash, sweet potato fries and a salad. The rest of the group enjoyed their food of burgers and chicken fingers with veggies. One person in our group took a slice... More

The Shed is a long time staple and for good reason. There is a huge variety on the menu whether you are here for breakfast or lunch, and of course, they are known for their pies. I have never seen a restaurant with so many different pie offerings. It doesn't matter whether you want fruit ( apple, apricot, cherry )... More

Purple-hulled peas! Other than gramma's house, where can you find purple-hulled peas?! They were not on the printed menu, but the printed menu did have yummy pinto beans. We shared a steak on steak night and added extra veggies. Excellent value. Ask for cornbread. It was not offered and I just happened to ask. We were too stuffed to eat... More

You can't go wrong on most any item on the menu, but I recommend the meatloaf (which is a special once a week...Thursday's if I remember correctly.). They have great pies also. There is fun shopping as well while you wait for your seat. Definitely worth the drive!

The place is quaint country.Had one great (simple) meal, and wanted to return .Ordered chicken dumplings..What a shock. What can only be described as a bowl of thick white "slop" with a few shreads of chicken arrived.Certainly no dumplings in sight.... I am a foodie, and have eaten on most continents in many different eating establishments,as well as owning my own restaurants.... More

I've never eaten anything here that was not just plain, ol' good! Their Chicken Fried steak is the signature meal. You can cut it with a fork it's so tender! Their onion rings are big, hand dipped and mouth watering. The décor is simple, the folk are simple but the food is outstanding. The pies are their signature dessert. The... More
