Anniversary meal for my parents at their choice of venue. Vegetarian choice very limited, only 2 and one the usual pasta. I only eat pasta at an Italian restaurant because I find they don't cook it well in pubs! I had the onion tart which I found to be too strongly flavoured and it was the same choice back in... More

We had a lovely family meal to celebrate a birthday, there were 11 in our party and the food came together, no mistakes and of a very high standard. There is a small bar and you can either ask the waiter or go yourself, they staff have a good knowledge of the meals and are ready to help if required

Having recently eaten at the Red Lion I decided to choose something fairly simply off the menu, I tried the Lion Pie, it was lacking taste, ale, seasoning, very bland Indeed also there's no excuse now for not offering homemade chips, frozen chips from a bag very plain. I suppose you get what you pay for, but if you can't... More

Closest accommodation to a wedding we attended . Room was small 2 single beds pushed together to make a double. Not a very comfortable night especially as the mattress protector was plastic coated. More like a hospital bed. Sorry not impressed and very disappointed. Good shower, poor soundproofing. Good breakfast and service.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was a great place to stay food, staff and facilities were amazing!! Only fault I have is on a Wednesday 'steak night' I had a car park facing room and it was noisy at around 12-1am with people leaving only because I had my window open due to the hot... More

We were recommended to this venue buy a neigbour, so we thought we would try it for a change. It was a lovely evening to go for a drive across the common to the Red Lion. We booked a table for 7pm, when we arrived the restaurant was quite busy, but we were greeted and shown to our table and were... More

Really good food, excellent service, great atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, clean loos. Sounds simple, but not many places locally offer what the Red Lion can (and does so reliably). We'll be back again soon.

We met friends here so travelled 45 minutes from Bromsgrove. It was worth the journey. Arriving early we got drinks and sat outside looking over to a lovely church. We had been allocated a large table with plenty of room in the restaurant. There is plenty of choice on the menu. Six of us were all very satisfied with our... More

The Red Lion is situated in the village of Bobbington with a view across to the village church. It has a large and well spaced car park with an play area for children and outside seating. Entry into the pub has one deep step, but the interior is mostly level. The staff are warm, friendly and generous with their service.... More
