On the water, okay food.

The do say about restaurants, view, food, service; pick two. Actually the food is quite okay. The choices are quite limited and the presentation is plain but my Jambalaya was very okay and filling. We visit this restaurant from time to time because it is small and intimate with a nice deck over the waters of Saanich inlet and lovely views. It's especially nice on a sunny day when you can sit outside. The food is good but nothing to write home about. we recently had the jambalaya, good sized portion, spicy enough for... More

We got a table for four, staff were a little rushed and distracted to start (the place was busy) but once they acknowledged us, the rest was good. Ordered the wild sockeye salmon and beef tenderloin salad (two specials of the day) and also the jambalaya. All the food was excellent. The bread pudding for dessert was even better! Not... More

The focus of the restaurant is New Orleans. It is decorated with Mardi Gras effects and looks great. It has a wonderful large deck that sits on the water. The food is top notch especially the jambalaya. Service is good. Not the cheapest place, but well worth the money. Great food and location.

My mom and I were looking for some seafood after a day at the Butchart Gardens. We saw the sign for the restaurant nailed to a telephone pole and decided to investigate. We're glad we did. The restaurant is Cajun and the patio sits out overlooking the water and is in an idyllic spot. We ordered applies to share, mussels,... More

Great spot for drinks on the water and Creole food. The food is awesome and the character and funky charm of the place make it a fun and out-of-the-way spot.

This is a very cool little place overlooking Brentwood Bay. Great view and great outdoor patio area. Service is a bit slow, and it took time to get our meals (only half full, maybe) but the Jambalaya was absolutely terrific! Nice jazzy, bluesy music playing too.
