This is a quaint little restaurant hanging over the waters of Brentwood Bay. The setting is as good as it gets, nestled by the jetties of Brentwood it is definitely maritime. On a warm day, the outside tables would be perfect for a lazy late lunch, a large part of the deck is covered to provide... read more

Unless you are eating or have a boat your vehicle will get towed if you park in their 1/2 acre parking lot to take a walk along the waterfront. If the Anglers anchorage marina boasts that 50% of the boat owners live within a 15 minute walk and 30% live in the townhouses, what is the big deal for locals... More

We went there on Friday past with 6 friends. It is always hard to find especially in the dark. We had some cold beers to start and a few appetizers. I had some clams, they were a bit chewy and no flavour to them. For dinner we had crusted fresh halibut steak, a Pepper steak, Jambalaya . The pepper steak... More

Went here for dinner, never been here before. The view over the water is great and a table on the deck in summer must be great. The food was okay, most of the ingredients were fresh but the tomato sauce base for the jambalaya was from a can. It was OK but not on the same level as yesterday's lunch... More

We found this great spot here on Trip Advisor after eating at the pub at the Brentwood Bay resort pub the night before and finding it a little pricey. This place was perfect. Food was good and very reasonably priced as was there wines. Would definitely come back again.

Good food, great little funky place on the water next to the marina. We like this place, and I am partial to it because I live a 5 minute walk away. We used to go more, but it has become so popular on summer evenings that it is difficult to get in, so reservations are a must now. Late summer... More

When you visit a place that advertises itself as a New Orleans restaurant in a place as bountiful as Vancouver Island (farmers market and fish/seafood lovers paradise) you might expect something a bit more like the real deal. This was just strange. Asked how they make their hard lemonade, the server responded nobody knew as they don't have a bar... More

The service, a little slow, was adequate. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food, while not considered real Cajun, was very good. The gumbo was not Cajun in that it was not a roux based or gumbo z'herbes style. The atmosphere was great with the outside tables literally over the water. It is hard to find, but once... More

The view and the service were great but the food was disappointing. The jambalaya was boring. The crab cakes were dry and not favourable. I guess I have been spoilt by actual New Orlean's cooking but my partner has never been and just through his own experiences was disappointed.
