We were more than pleasantly surprised to find this funky this restaurant in Wells BC (population 300). The smell of the ribs was what drew us in. They were probably the best ribs we've ever eaten, along with some remarkable roasted veg. The restaurant is charming and laid back but you're never left wanting for service. As well as the... More

Quirky menu, great food and service. I like the menu and the original way it is presented. Not your run of a mill restaurant . If like some character with your meal....it's the place to go!

While not officially open for the season, the owners went out of their way to make sure that this traveller was not left hungry or feeling like I had imposed upon them in any way. The meal that they went out of their way to provide was home-made in every sense. Would love to visit during the full season period

The food was well prepared and though the menu was small, what they offered was of the utmost quality. The hosts were worth the price of admission and make sure you have them put on the video slide show. Great entertainment and a good preview of the area. What a very cool place.

This place cooked up and served fresh delicious food. Not what you would expect in this tiny town. The after dinner entertainment was fun. Highly recommend this place for dinner! Worth the short walk if you are staying in The Wells Hotel. Dinner there the night before was a disaster!

One of the best meals we had during this month long trip in Canada and much less expensive than comparable meals. Friendly accommodating service, an intriguing menu and very well prepared food. Barkerville is fascinating and dinner in this appealing cafe very nicely topped off our day
