Service can be a little slow, but it's usually pretty busy and the food is worth the wait. Average Waterton prices, great selection on the menu. And the coffee is the best! Spend some time in the attached gift shop too.

We stopped in here to eat after a long hike. The decor was very cozy. We ordered 2 appetizers to share. The food was really good and the waitress was friendly. It is a bit pricey but so is everywhere in Waterton. Would love to bring our kids back on our next trip. They would love this place

Usually I wouldnt give a review like this, but it's so gross. For a started we ordered the deep fried onion, which was okay but lacked flavor. We were optimistic as I ordered the rack of ribs, and husband ordered the beef brisket. The meals came and the brisket looked disgusting. It literally looked like they put it into a... More

My husband and I stopped here for dinner; we had made a reservation but the restaurant was very quiet and we had exceptional service and yummy food. The bill was high for two salads, two entrées and one glass of wine (almost $100), but we left satisfied and would certainly go back. Trappers is a family run business, so higher... More

Just came back from hiking 18km and instead of cooking at our campsite, decided to eat someplace downtown. This restaurant catch our eye so we walked in and someone immediately guided us to a table and the waitress showed up in no time. My wife and I both decided to go with their burger dishes and we were not disappointed.... More

We ate here kind of late...around 8:30pm. I think they stop accepting new diners at 8:45. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food was quite good, and the pricing was appropriate.

I understand it's a small secluded town, and it's hard to keep the business going. however, this place was extremely overpriced for what you get. Service was great, food tasted fine. Just not worth the money.

We ate breakfast at Trappers twice during our stay. Both servers were friendly and efficient and the food was good. Price was fair. This is a resort town with limited days of operation and probably higher costs since it is somewhat remote.

We ate lunch outside here and enjoyed the summer snow (fluff from the cottonwood trees) while we dined. Tried a pizza with ground bison and berries on it that was good. Bison burger was good too. Bill for 5 people and tip was $120. The interior was cute with red flannel covering the booth seats and stuffed animal heads on... More

My boyfriend and I along with our 3 kids stopped here for lunch today. He had a half order of ribs, it was a tiniest dish for $35, we had a terrible ignorant waitress that never have any refills. I had the beef dip, took one bite it was disgusting. The au jus sauce tasted like oil and water, no... More
