Good food fair price

We shared an order of fish and chips since the servings are rather large and neither of us eat a lot. We also got the tomato onion salad and blooming onion as appetizers. The blooming onion was excellent. I was surprised by the tomato onion salad as it was just sliced onions and tomatoes... read more

$70.00 for 3 people to split a large pizza and four beers ($7.50 each). And they won't do 1/2 and 1/2 on the pizzas. Décor is nothing special and neither is the food.

We visited this restaurant on our first night. We enjoyed the main meal, service was good, but they did not have the dessert on the menu we wanted as they were closing down for the season the following weekend. Quite expensive.

Trappers is rather expensive but still popular, perhaps because the servings are large. The Bison Burger (18.99) patty was similar to Zum's (not large) but here it was slightly overdone. The burger came with a LOT of garden-variety fries, plus small dishes of so-so coleslaw and beans. This is definitely quantity over quality.

We have stopped here twice in the last two years, both times, very friendly service and good food. Especially good soup this time, just right for a cool rainy day!

We had lunch here one day and absolutely loved it! The service was great and the food was high quality. The burger was delicious and my chicken sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. The prices are not cheap, but not so bad...lunch and dinner prices seem about the same (except for steaks--those are very high). I... More

Good food, reasonable price and good service. We had burgers and they were very good. Handy location to most hotels.

As the season draws to a close so do eating options. Trapper's Mountain Grill was one of just a few places that we were directed to visit. We overheard that they were closing within a day or two. It's not surprising since the nearby border crossing was closing as well. That might have explained why some of the items on the... More

Visited this restaraunt twice this season, opening weekend and this past Fri., night and day! Opening weekend, relaxed, friendly service, very good food, even the prices seemed better. This past Fri., prices are high even by resort town standards, waiter seemed rushed, (asked for order before asking for drinks), food was.... adequate. I ordered the Sirloin, wife the t bone,...
