They were experiencing problems when we were there with their debit system and could only accept cash. When you phone to make a reservation you are guaranteed a table but not a specific table/area. We wanted to sit outside and after a short wait were moved to the deck. Our meals were well-presented and delicious.

We spent two nights in Waterton. The previous evening we picked up pizza and took it to our room for dinner. We decided to eat at a restaurant the second night. This was recommended by the captain of the boat cruise we took on Waterton Lake. We were very disappointed. The food was very expensive in our opinion for what... More

Dinner on Sept 27/14. Atmosphere was pleasant, server took our order indicating that we all had made good choices. Our party ordered the Crab salad with Artichoke, Bison chili and Bison meatloaf. The server came back to say that there was no Artichoke left and did we still want the Crab. We asked for a beet salad to be substituted... More

Such a cozy place to dine in Waterton! Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. BF ordered the french toast and is glad he added a side of eggs and bacon. The french toast was very flavorful, but was on standard white, bread and he said it was definitely not enough food. French toast with 2 eggs and 2... More

Located in the middle of Waterton; it is an easy stroll from any of Waterton's lodging choices except the Prince of Wales Hotel. Very welcoming and courteous service throughout the meal. Choice of Bison Burger & Fish 'n Chips hit the spot; both served w/ a small dish of their baked beans and cole slaw. This was a dinner choice... More

We had an early dinner at Trappers, sitting outside on the sidewalk under an umbrella. We liked the fried onion “flower” and the soup; the cheesecake less so. Portions were large. Service was friendly. The Bayshore hotel across the road hid views of the nearby lake. The inside of the restaurant looked attractive.

Food and service were terrible. I ordered the brisket asking if it was smoked on site. She said yes. It was basically a $26 pile of steamed roast beef lunch meat. Not tasty at all. Service was slow and a second glass of wi e was not offered. Safe to say not returning.

It's very possible our visit to this restaurant would have been very different with a different server. Ours was politely rude. Being from the US and having traveled in Canada several times, we know restaurant prices can sometimes be shocking. What seemed like a kid-friendly restaurant wasn't at least in terms of the menu. Very limited choices. I asked if... More

Having read some reviews on TA we were a bit skeptical about eating here but it's end of season in waterton and we thought we'd give it a go. We were both pleasantly surprised, the food was good and the service nice. We had a good chat to the lady on the counter when paying and they all seemed friendly... More
