Breakfast

Had the smoked salmon eggs benedict. It was delicious. I also enjoyed their hashbrowns and the waitress was helpful in deciding on a few hikes.

The food was average really, but the bubbly server made it enjoyable. People at the bar were making racket when the Flames scored. When we go back to Waterton though, it is doubtful we would revisit this restaurant, if only becasue Trappers is just that much better.

We stayed the night and decided to eat here for convenience. Family of 6 adults and 3 children. Food was ok, nothing special. Some meals were served just barely warm enough to eat. After heading to the pool in the morning we gave them another chance and went for breakfast. That was a big mistake. Although it appeared they were... More

Stayed in town and we were told this is a good place for breakfast. Was not disappointed at all and ate there 2 mornings. Granola, fresh fruit and yummy yogurt was my favorite. Had a nice variety to chose from. The ambiance in the restaurant was great. Never had a chance to return for dinner. The people working there were... More

Dined here for dinner and ordered the lake trout - was a nice fillet but I kept hoping for something on my plate to have some flavour. White rice was tasteless, fish needed some type of seasoning, steamed veggies. The meal bored me to death. Partner had a steak which was cooked nicely but again no seasoning. Anyone can cook... Was recommended from our hotel, they were doing a Mom eat free promotion for mothers day (may 6-13), so the 5 of us went, the Elk Balls in peppercorn sauce were delicious, the 22 oz. Rib eye steak was over-cooked, and I sent it back, the replacement was delicious, but still overdone, bison burgers seemed to please, fish n chips... More

The pints of Traditional beer were excellent but Mothers Day lunch was less than stellar. The mother of my children ordered fish and chips which were served on paper, covering an underlying plate. As she cut up the food the paper tore and she had to be sure that she was not swallowing paper at the same time as the... More

As a last getaway in a slow season we anticipated slower service and limited food option, but what we were in for we did not expect. $31 for my husband to get a beef Wellington that was only 2 bites in size (no exaggeration), garnished with half a dozen vegetables... That was the entire meal. I asked for the chicken... More

Friendly staff, but the food is not the best. French onion soup was more onion than soup. Beef wellington tasted like a poorly heated up frozen meal. Sauce on the ribs more like ketchup & the Malbec wine - $32 for a bottle of Trapiche we buy at the liquor store for $14 - pretty disappointed.
