Considering the charm and beauty of the location Zums was a big disappointment. Menu selections seemed limited for such a well established restaurant and excessively over priced for the quality of the food. Service was great and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. One unnerving thing, other than the over priced dinner meals, was having to walk through... More

We arrived here after driving through Waterton park and were looking for a nice, quick meal. And that's what we got. Our waitress could have been better and was our only complaint. But the food was good, and the atmosphere was great! The prices were decent considering the rest of the restaurants were much more expensive.

We stopped into Zum's after window shopping many of the other eateries in town. This one was the most reasonably priced with the portions just right though small for American standards. No complaints on the taste of the food (hamburger and pulled pork) or presentation. They had 2 Canadian microbrews on tap: a wheat and an amber so in my... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Zum's. Went in for lunch, right to a table, but granted it was a rainy Sunday morning. My wife's BLT was quite nice, my Hippie Wrap was amazing, and the Garlic Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper soup was absolutely amazing, a little small, but amazing nonetheless. Service was really nice, price was decent, and... More

We were passing through Waterton on our way from Glacier to Banff and needed a spot for lunch. Good for a quick bite and the prices seemed more reasonable than the other places we checked. Had the poutine and the bacon cheeseburger. Poutine was great, the burger just average. For the price, our meal was fine. Nothing fancy.

seriously, the grilled chicken sandwich is the best thing on the menu and you won't be disappointed. The fish and chips is good too. Other than those two, the reviews are mixed. The deck is very nice to sit out and enjoy your lunch and beverages and look over the town. Service was fast and friendly. the place is nice... More

So...name three ways to wreck fried chicken. First...overcook it. Check. Second...douse it with so much salt and pepper it drowns out the chicken. Check. Give your customer 2 bony backs and a drumstick. Check! The bad chicken trifecta. Greek pita was just as sad...dry falafel (or Greek sawdust). When it came time to pay our bill we went up to... More

We ate at Zum's three times - and all three times we had consistent, decent service. We were pleased with the quality of food, but not overly impressed. The "famous" fried chicken was good, but didn't wow us. The extra "spice" was enough to keep us interested, but probably wouldn't order it again. The breakfast was good - and surprise:... More

My husband and I both had the reuben sandwich and neither of us liked it. The 1000 Island Dressing came in a little package and wasn't very flavorful and the pastrami was plentiful but substandard. There are plenty of other choices in Waterton to eat...next time we'd go someplace else.

Ordered burgers as rest of menu seemed a bit uninteresting and more like chain food priced like fancy foo. Burgers were as thin as a fast food hamburger- seriously, for $13. Also, note Alberta has a regulation that all beef must be cooked well done- no exceptions. Very disappointing meal for the price- given the charm of the town.
