Excellent bakery

This seems to be an island hangout. Everyone was here in the morning. The perfect place for a roll and coffee.

We went to this bakery every day for five days. Excellent: cinnamon buns (had them cut into four -- generous!), amazing organic multigrain sourdough, vegetarian yum wrap, calzones, butter chicken samosas, muffins, kaiser buns, croissants. Went there on my way off the island and bought six loaves of bread for my freezer. Wish I'd bought more.

This place is a must while on Galiano for great coffee, cinnamon buns & fabulous breads. It is hard to avoid! Get there early for your cinnamon buns or you will be disappointed

I was quite disappointed as I was hoping for the sourdough taste from sourdough bread. It was certainly fresh, and organic, but I wish I had brought some from the mainland as I did not find it particularly tasty. I actually gave it away as it wasn't worth the calories. The place is only open until early afternoon. The small... More

Friendly, always willing to pack "to go" for a picnic, superb tacos, in Galiano's little "downtown" so easy to grab other items if others in your party want something different

And so much more. Very tasty lunches too. But I cannot leave without a pie. So good. I went back and got a cinnamon bun for the ferry ride

Delicious but a tad pricey - like most things on this island. Fifteen dollars for two hot drinks and two pastries. But delicious none the less and great, friendly service. Would have liked to be there close to lunchtime for a calzone or other savoury taste but wasn't. Maybe next time :) outdoor and indoor seating options

Delicious breakfast pastries and lunch wraps. My favourite wrap featured rice, yams, vegetables, feta, and chipotle mayo.

This little bakery not only has good baked goods, it is a great place for soup and sandwiches and coffee. A gathering place for the locals to meet.

We gave this bakery about 4 tries. Many times on our visits to Galiano it was always closed (very limited hours) so the first time we saw it open we ran in! We looked at the display and there wasn't anything appetizing at all so we actually walked out empty handed. Very disappointing after what we've seen on other islands... More
