Fantastic little gem of a Coffee Shop

This is a great little spot for your daily cup of java and a snack. There is an gift shop on the lower level and a clothing place on the top. They even have little side tables for those who want to work on their laptop. Keeps the tables open for regular patrons. Very happy I discovered this place.

Every time I am in Port Hardy Cafe Guido is a must stop. Excellent coffee, great sandwiches, I have worked my way through the entire selection and everyone of them is delicious and fresh. The community arts center upstairs and the book nook downstairs make it a perfect combination of all things wonderful and beautiful and tasteful. Experienced staff with... More

We all had soup and sandwiched and everyone enjoyed their lunch. All of the soups are made, not canned and the sandwiches are super fresh and tasty. The coffee is great.

Cage Guido is pretty much the only coffee shop in Port Hardy but that doesn't make it mediocre in any way. If it were in downtown Victoria, Vancouver, or Seattle patrons would be lined up around the block for the well-made lattes and interesting baking. Our standard drink is a 16 ounce skim milk latte and these were made to... More

Great place to meet with friends for a coffee and a light snack. One can select from a wide selection of reading material and books to read while they relax in a plush comfy couch ... Very cozy.

While exploring Port Hardy my wife and I stopped into Cafe Guido. Lots of local traffic so we figured it has to be good. Coffee was good, nice friendly atmosphere. The gift shop was really cool, featuring a cross section of local and conventional nick nacks, gifts, and souvenirs. Make sure to visit the museum and walk the coastline and... More

Great coffee options, yummy pastries for dessert. Cute book store downstairs and nice local craft items on the upper level. Employees were extremely friendly.
