Food good. Service extremely bad. If they had told us in a pleasant way that they did not have time to serve us would have helped a lot, or at least given us a smile. To get a dessert, we just had to give up. I hope that the money I left was enough to cover the bill as we... More

It is a wonderful place to eat. If it was placed in a big city it will full everyday and it will be difficult to make a reservation, but if you travel across this aerea its worth to get there and enjoy the acurate cuisine they always offer at a more than reaonable price.

I had hoped to eat at La Serra in St Esteve de Guialbes with a group of friends but they were closed for their holidays. In an attempt to find another typically Catalan village restaurant in the area I stumbled across La Rectoria. It's located in a quiet, pretty village and whilst you might expect to walk into a bit... Food is always excellent, fresh tasty and well presented. I don-t think it will be long before a "reservation only" system will be needed.

While staying in a small town in Eastern Spain, we had the pleasure of dining in this chic and charming restaurant. It is nestled in the heart of a tiny village, and would be missed except for the recommendation of friends. Beautiful ambiance, graceful service and fabulous food. If you make the effort to find it, you'll not be disappointed.... More

The place is a bit challenging to find - but well worth it. Some of the highest quality food I've had in the area in the most unassuming place. I had the menu degustacio in order to taste the variety and creativity of the chef. Each dish was beautifully presented and matched with wine. I loved the fish and of... More

Excellent lunch offer for 15 Euros (ex. VAT). Fresh products, very tasty without being too formal. You have to drive a little to get there but it is worth the drive. Highly recommended.

Tucked away in a stone village in the rolling meadows north of Girona this restaurant is yet further proof that Catalunya is the eating Mecca of Europe. Very well renovated rustic modern interior. Slick service. Very good food. Starters were Sepia Tartar (with truffles) & stock poached squid. Mains were slow cooked shoulder of lamb (cooked at a low temperature)... More
