We were had sailed over to Bedwell Bay for the weekend and came into Poet's Cove Resort for brunch at the Aurora Restaurant. We had been here before for dinner and expected a good meal, and were not disappointed in the brunch menu. The selection of hot dishes, cold salads, fruits and pastries was broad. Everything we tried was delicious,... More

Food was so amazing. We also had the best host and server. We were the only ones there but that made the experience so much better. The server saw that we were taking selfies and he said he could take the pics for us and even suggested he could take some outside too because of the sunset. This place is... More

Breakfast buffet wasn't anything special. Croissants, fresh fruit, a giant block of scrambled eggs you scoop a chunk off of, unimpressive coffee. Just okay for $15/person.

Straight forward, nothing special. Excellent staff, average food. Beautiful view. Very clean. WOuld have been better if brunch started earlier instead of breakfast...then 3 hours later brunch.

We ate at the pub next door that presumably has the same kitchen. Poor service staff were over worked and the attention was lacking as a result. Food was mediocre at best. They seriously need to clean their draught beer lines. Go to the cafe at hope bay instead!!

At one time Poets Cove was a good place to visit, eat, play, and enjoy, but in the recent years it has really gone downhill, very understaffed, poorly trained staff, food quality is very bad compared to what it used to be, talking to staff the moral is horrible, apparently it is going to be closed due to the fact... The pub was half full and the place was understaffed for a long weekend. We waited too long for our drinks and food. Servers were ok but this was a management issue!

Took 30 minutes to get our salads Server barely cracked a smile. Setting was beautiful, but over all would not go back. Where's the passion???

Went to Aurora at Poet's cove after a lovely couples massage for our anniversary. The room is very nice, the view spectacular, our server (Ryland) very good - helpful, knowledgeable and good to talk to. The food was really good - oysters, steak tartare, braised lamb agnolloti - and with super wines by the glass. Only down side was the... More

The Aurora served up a fantastic dinner menu and a wonderful breakfast buffet. We enjoyed a wonderful seafood dinner - large, very delicious scallops, followed by a lobster pasta that was equally tasty. The server was great and very attentive to dietary restrictions, accommodating necessary changes without a blink. A quiet, romantic dinner with a fabulous view!
