Having just arrived at the Marina we were starving..... We had heard good things about the Waupoos Pub so we decided to go check it out. Unfortunatly the kitchen was closed at 8pm but the owners were kind enough to offer us a Mama Mia. We had no clue what this was but at this point we were happy with... More

This place is really hard to describe. I went for dinner, had the special curried shrimp with beans and corn. The beans were the best I have ever eaten, the corn was very fresh, the shrimp curry was a bit weak in flavour. Overall it was a good home cooked meal with fresh veggies, but the price was $20 and... We stopped at the pub on a ride through Waupoos and Cressy and then back up the Loyalist Highway to Picton. We were pleased to find this hidden oasis and found the server to be friendly and efficient as we were HUNGRY! We ordered half pint each of Waupoos Cider, the mild tartness of which went well with our tasty... More

Showed up on a Monday of a long weekend to grab a coffee and bite to eat after a ride on my new dual-sport bike. Took 5 minutes for what I presume was the owner to even acknowledge me. Asked nicely for a cup of coffee and was rudely told "this is a pub, we don't serve coffee". Fine I... More

It's a beautiful afternoon. We decide to take a trip down to Waupoos to get some wine and soak up the beauty of the day. That run from Picton to Waupoos is filled with amazing things: maple syrup, cheese, blueberries, raspberries and a little out of the way pub. It's lunch time but the prices on the menu are the... Hard to miss as there is nothing nearby. Fair choice of selections on the menu and good selection of beers and ciders. I had read many comments about the excellent pies however the proprietress told us their pie maker was an elderly woman and not baking as much as in the past. The fish was fresh and the appetizers were... More

We found this place by accident after finding the waupoos Winery restaurant closed. We had a very nice lunch from a rather limited menu. They have a great selection of wines, beers and cider. The proprietress was interseting and we had a long chat. Not gourmet, but altogether a very good experience.

This restaurant has a great location out in the middle of nowhere in Waupoos. The building and dining spaces are charming as are the wait staff and owners. That, sadly, was the end of the good experience. I ordered what sounded like a great burger. It bordered on inedible. It certainly was a premade burger. It didn't even taste like... More

My wife and I pedaled into the area, and chose a B&B close to this lonely restaurant (not near any other stores). We didn't have a reservation but they found a table for us. The service was attentive without being over bearing. I had the pickerel, and it was very good, my wife had the curry chicken. We were happy... More
