The food was OK and the service was OK but the setting lacked much. It is in a truck repair facility and if you don't mind the mechanics walking through the place then you'll do OK. For me it was tolerable but my wife couldn't deal with it. It was kind of hoot in my opinion. Very reasonable in price.... More

The food was fresh with substantial quantities. The waitress was friendly. We came late so the special was almost gone.

We ate supper and breakfast here and it was good. If your there to eat and not worried about décor you will be just find. The food is homemade and was hot and tastey. I told my daughter it reminded me of a small town diner in Iowa 40 yrs. ago. The service was good and friendly.

We both had the dinner special( ham, cheddar scalps, fresh veggies, homemade bun, and chicken/rice soup). You would not think this place was a good choice from the outside, but it sure was. Thanks to Michael from the Air Force Lodge for the suggestion.

Had the cheese omelette which was very greasy. Either they mixed the cheese in with the eggs or they forgot to put it in. Eggs were not mixed well as there were areas of egg white. Had to be the worst omelette I have ever had.

I know it doesn't look like much but I'm not eating the decor! Really nice people that run the place. We just had coffee and pie but it was good. Don't let the looks keep you from this jewel of Watson Lake.

I travel for work and find myself in Watson lake annually. I have chosen BeeJays as my stop over for food. The prices are reasonable and the food is always tasty. I usually go for healthier fare like fish and salad and while it doesn't rank with a top notch steakhouse in a large metropolitan city for presentation; the food... More

I feel very sorry for the staff at this restaurant. They're stuck in Watson Lake. The town is a dump, but that doesn't mean you have to serve food dipped in axle grease. Next trip through will do everything to avoid eating in Watson Lake.
