I live in Iqaluit and the Gallery is my favorite restaurant here. Yes, it is pricey, but everything is in Iqaluit. And it is better priced then The Discovery, and much better food and options! Sunday Brunch is awesome- such a huge selection and the waffles are great. Dinner menu has lots of options, however I would like to see... More

Of course, everything in town – restaurants especially – is expensive here but there are places where you can eat your fill for half or less of what we paid here. I know what they're trying to do, to be a 5 star restaurant, and I would say they come close, but what do I know? I have simple tastes.... More

On a recent business trip I ate at this restaurant a few times (lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch). The menu, while well focused, is eclectic featuring various cuisines (Pizza, Italian pastas, Asian-inspired dishes, 'country food', i.e. locally available foods.) I had arctic char in a green sauce which was amazing. The caribou burger - they do cut to the chase with... More

I find the food and service at the Gallery to be consistently good, I have eaten here about 10 times. The prices are better than the Granite Room and the food is almost as good.

I ate at The Gallery four of the five nights I spent in Iqaluit and was blown away by the quality of the food. At first it may appear that it’s quite expensive, however, the quality more than makes up for paying a bit more for food that, in large part and particularly the fresh produce, has to be shipped... This was one of the better brunches I've been to, North or South! Great variety of food - veggie options, variety of seafood and meat. Breakfast food, lunch food, finger food... All very tasty! Haven't been here for a sit-down A La Carte meal, so can't comment on that, but brunch is worth doing. It's pricey ($40/person), but that's not... More

We were visiting family and went out for a special meal. It was very clean, open, and comfortable. Prices were high, as is expected in an isolated community where everything has to be shipped in, but the portions were large (almost to large) and the food was delicious, great quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very... More

The food is consistent and not at all bad. The beef rib appetizer is a good main course. The vegetarian tapas plate is big enough for two. Desserts are a bit thin - not worth the calories. Prices are, of course, very high. Expect to pay about $80 for a very ordinary dinner for one. The service is fine. Others... More

I had the arctic char and it was delicious. So much so that I even ate the vegetables - something I don't often do. It came with fondant potatoes, braised fennel and had a goddess beurre blanc drizzled over it. Yummy. The service was very good. No room for dessert.

Had such a tasty dinner here recently! The food is excellent - both in taste and in presentation. I had the Cobb Salad with smoked salmon - so plentiful that I could not finish it for dinner. My husband had the Elk Osso Bucco - ever so tender and tasty! Although it was a busy Saturday night, we had no... More
