Great place up North

This place offers you everything you need for a coffee break, breakfast, Snack... we came with a group and still found some place in the second room. They even sell local art - so it's more than just a café and bakery. The staff ist superfriendly and everything we ordered was just great - not only... read more

Great bakery. It closes Labor Day so make sure you go when it is open. Wonderful cinnamon rolls and bread.

Stayed overnight in Haines Junction and, after having read reviews, decided to have dinner here. Good choice! A quaint garden setting, good service and even better sandwiches. Everything is homemade! Glad we ate here. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at a cabin across the road from this bakery. Cabin is a mom and pop operation and was very nice. In the morning the bakery was the perfect place for breakfast and Wi-fi.

People raved about this place for years. The first time I tried it, the owners were a husband and wife who ran it with their kids in the summer. It was never very impressive but I heard there were new owners so decided to go back. Again, it was nothing to write home about. Fresh baked goods but nothing I... More

When we drove the Alcan two years ago, the Village Bakery was already closed for the season. This time around we made a point to stop there because even closed it has left a great impression on us. The open store was even better :-) We found out that the former owners retired and sold the bakery to a young... More

We ate here twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was fresh and tasty. There is a nice variety of basics combined with innnovative foods. There are very few places to eat in Haines Junction and this is the best!

Great place to grab some coffee or some snacks, including home-baked goods and even gluten-free cookies. We hadn't expected to have such a good range of choices for someone who can't eat gluten out in the wilderness :-) There's also a great deck to enjoy the sunshine.

Plenty of awesome treats to stock up on for the long road ahead. The barista knew what she was doing too. Great Latte!

The Village Bakery has great home baking, as well as supplies if you are going on a hike (trail mix, Cliff bars and other treats). Service is always friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are good too!
