Driving back from Alaska, we somehow stumbled across this gem of a café/bakery/restaurant. It was a Friday evening and they were having their last outdoor show of the season. It was a real treat after our two day hike to have a beer, some great food and a live show. If you're in the area during the summer on a... More

This establishment runs an excellent Friday night BBQ, complete with live music. Chinook salmon, including amazing salads, and very nice music outside with views of Kluane mountains made for an unforgettable evening.

The owner was very friendly, and the baked treats are delicious (I had the date slice). WiFi is fast and the food prices are reasonable.

The bakery in Haines Junction is off the Alaska Highway but is well worth the effort to find it. Helpfully, they have provided a sign. One block on the Whitehorse side of the Alaska-Haines Highways junction, turn west and it's just a couple of blocks in. The whole place is on a wooden deck furnished with picnic tables and shaded... If you have a sweet tooth and enjoy a nice atmosphere, stop here. We did, on two occasions! My children loved the cinnamon buns! During one visit, my daughter got an ice cream ("small") that was so big she couldn't even finish it (that's a first!). Clean and pleasant.

What a bakery in a small town. The pies and cakes are to die for. We also had a ice cream smoothie which was superb. They do lots of subs so stop off and enjoy. There is also a small gift shop.

This was a real oasis from the road. It has a great atmosphere and good food. If you are near by you have to stop for soup, coffee pastry or a sandwich

The service was great. They offered to cut the loaf bread for us and warm up the bison cheese dogs. They had a variety of items including fresh bread and ice cream. Wished we found this place before we bought burgers at Frosty's down the road.
