Have just been to Flynns to take my friend for a birthday lunch. We had prawn salad which was excellent, a bottomless tea pot and cake. I asked if there was any chance for a candle on her piece of cake and when they came out the whole family came and sang Happy Birthday to her. It made her day.... More

We arrived at the bee farm and was given a warm welcome. We joined in the honey tasting which was delightful - so many beneficial properties to health I was amazed. We were taken back with all the supporting letters from all over world from people who use the products and the benefits from honey and it's properties. The family... More

I came here with the hope of potentially ordering a bulk order of honey pots for a large-scale event I was organising, and to have breakfast. The man in the honey shed was helpful but unfortunately could not deal with my request, as this had to be done via the manager. However, on finding the manager in the tea rooms,... More

I believe this reviewer is mistaken. As explained in the previous review and answer, as these two visited us together, my 16 year old daughter had just returned from a holiday with her grand parents and we were excitedly catching up with our news. There is no way that I would have been able to serve myself before customers, because... More

My daughter and I stopped off here to sample the honey and needed breakfast. The whole experience was very unprofessional as the owner ( who was taking her own breakfast at the same time) proceeded to comment very loudly on a recent poor review with Trip Advisor the whole time we were there! Not only was her voice extremely loud,... More

Thank you for your review. When people come here, they are visiting our home, and we always do everything we can to make you feel welcome. My daughter had just got back from a week long holiday with her grand parents, and I was taking some much needed catch up time with her- unlike many mothers who have the luxury... More

My daughter and I visited the farm earlier this week and were delighted with what we found. A very relaxed atmosphere with noone rushing to hurry us along to finish our food etc which is hard to find elsewhere! My 9 year old daughter fell in love with the place and now describes as her 'favourite place on earth'. We... More

I visited on the 3rd August 2014 with my mum for the second time and enjoyed a wonderful lunch of A luxury honey cream tea -complete with a rather snazzy teapot. along with a Cheese and Tuna jacket potato with the most wonderful honey and cinnamon Frappe. This was the second time daughter and myself had visited Flynns Bees. We had lovely food. Gorgeous luxury cream tea! Fell in love with the bee teapot! Wonderful products. I'll be back to buy some honey when more is in stock! Very well worth a visit. Do find it.

We happened to stumble across this lovely Bee Farm whilst we were staying on the island holidaying. The best way I can describe Flynns is a good old fashioned family run business, run by honest people, serving honest food. The owners and their family are polite and welcoming and the service is exceptional.

Found tea room on trip adviser and found it very interesting with information about bees and remedies for arthritis which my Aunts husband used 40 years ago. The welcome was excellent and the food was well presented. I would go back every time we visit Kent. R.Bishop

Although upon reception the lady (owner?) was bit upfront what do you want when all we wanted to do was have a look see for ourselves where we wanted to sit etc, I believe her intentions were good. The service lacked the jog of cold water we asked to be inckluded but in fairness tehy apologise dnad deducted the jug... More

Thank you for this review. Yes, it was I, the owner, who greeted you, as I do most of our guests, and I am sorry if my enthusiastic welcome alarmed you. We are a conservation site, part of an international breeding project for native honeybees, which are endangered these days, so perhaps you will forgive us, for wanting to know... More
