Three of us dropped by for lunch. There were so many options, we had a tough time selecting what we wanted. Baked goods galore! Lots of friendly people, enjoying a great meal. We will dine here again on our next island visit.

I regularly eat at Artisan Eats: good coffee and a nice place to hang out on a rainy Bowen afternoon. But my last two meals (other than a quick muffin) have been poor value. Last weekend I took a visiting family. For $5 the kids got either a small cereal bowl sized portion of macaroni and cheese, or a tiny... More

Excellent baked goods, hearty and delicious breakfast and lunch items with good selection. Everything hand made, bread...pasties...even the mayo! This is fine dining served up in your neighbours kitchen kind of place.

As someone who has frequented this cafe since it's inception, I can honestly say that their baked goods are some of the best I have ever had. And this is definitely saying something coming from a self-acknowledged sweet tooth like myself. My faves? Well I can attribute at least 5lbs of my body weight to three of their mainstays -... More

What a let down. One would be tempted to return to this beautiful setting often if the food had not been so disappointing. A friend and I each ordered the pulled port sandwich, with fries. We went with fries instead of a side salad because the restaurant emphasized how excellent potatoes they use are, and how good the fries are.... More

This was a family lunch for 7 people in the blazing sun with wonderful scenic views over Bowen. A range of dishes including burgers and paninis etc all went down very well but who could eat all those fries?

We were staying very close and went down and ordered a few things to take back for lunch. My husband really enjoyed the beet salad but the quinoa salad was bland and the sandwiches were not great. Pretty expensive too which would be ok if it matched the quality of the food. Always very busy so they must be good... More

This charmingly situated restaurant was quite a disappointment. It seems to have gone down hill this past year. The soup we had at lunch, carrot and ginger was distasteful and the cauliflower soup was tasteless. We ordered gluten free bread and had to request butter. My kale and black quinoa salad was missing the quinoa...the curried fries were pretty good...... More

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious cappucino and peach muffins while sitting outdoors and enjoying the amazing views.
