Was recommended by a friend and am glad we came. The food was delicious! Comfort food at a great price. I had an amazing basic burger (the Pemby Meadows burger) for under $10. The Mac 'N' Cheese was made with aged cheddar & mozza...yum (this is the foundation for all other Macs!). This dish was consumed by my teen within... More

We were recommended Mile One by friends who had raved about their burgers. They were right to rave- they are epic! Cost wise it is really affordable - around $10 for a burger on its own. The portions are perfect, the service is great - wish they had one in Whistler!

Had lunch in Pemberton while visiting Whistler. On a recommendation we went to Mile One. Ordered the burger and I swear it was the best burger I ever had in my life. And trust me I have eaten a lot of burgers around the world. God selection of craft beers s well. A must visit when in whistler

We'd been going to have dinner at The Pony, but the desk clerk at our hotel suggested Mile One instead. We're glad he did! The format is what might be termed "cafeteria hybrid": choose from the many items listed on the chalkboard (plus the specials), give your order to the person at cash, and it gets delivered to your table.... We had lunch here, poutines were flavourful and hearty and hotdog was tasty, really nice surroundings and friendly service so they seem to be doing everything well, wedges were a little overcooked would be my only negative comment Rob

Fabulous food and efficient friendly service. Followed previous tripadvisor reviewers' recommendations and we are glad we did! Open roomy design and an outdoor patio for fair weather. Also, delicious desserts in the case to tempt you. Every meal we ordered was tasty and filled the spot. Our large group left the establishment with full tummies and a warm feeling inside!

I had a great salad side with Mac and cheese jazzed up with elk sausage and local mushrooms. Loved it!

A couple of weeks ago a friend brought me here for a quick lunch. I had the chorizo wrap and absolutely loved it. Chorizo, sauteed onions, red bell pepper, and scrambled eggs in a whole wheat tortilla; nothing extraordinary but so fresh and tasty. The next time I passed by Pemberton was with my husband. We both ordered a burger.... More
