Excellent down home comfort food!

WOW! What a great experience. Local products and everything, sauces, buns, waffles, etc were made in house. The chicken and cornbread waffles were great! Awesome market, with local products, attached to the restaurant. Staff was friendly and outgoing. A must stop if you are in Pemberton.

I can't believe I forgot to review this wonderful restaurant. We were there this Fall while we spent a week at Whistler. We drove up once to try it and again for the Wed. special: Beer & burger $12. Among the choices was a hard cider, regularly $7, which I chose. Not only was this a good value & the... More

The doorman at Four Season Whistler boasted about "driving there just for the Mile One burger". Well he was bang on! The drive was beautiful, with snow covered mountains, and picturesque views. Literally just and intersection but the Mile One Eating House sits with an amazing view of the mountains. Newly renovated, trendy burger joint was reasonably priced. Burger and... More

We stayed in Pemberton/Whitsler for 2 nights 3 days during the New Year weekend, but already had 3 meals at this great restaurant. It was a busy holiday season. The restaurant was at full capacity. There was a long lineup and big crowd of people. However, the restaurant staffs are very friendly and experienced in dealing with customers. One of... More

I had the Oyster Burger and loved it; wife had salmon burger, daughter had fish-and-chips (we shared, of course :^). Everything was delicious. For me one of the big plusses is that they use local food suppliers as much as they can. There is also a lot of tourist information, plus a "market" in the back. I loved it.

I had an amazing oyster burger, it was so very good but I found the bun a little large. Very fresh food. Would recommend.

We were visiting from the UK and not generally burger eaters but these were amazing, loads of choices (suggest the diamond burger which has ham, red wine poached apple, burger, cheese ) lovely atmosphere and good beer. What else do you need.

I've heard about this place and decided to try it out, no regrets. Best burgers ever, everything is so tasty and nicely cooked I'm pretty sure this is the best place to have dinner when in pembie. When we arrived the place was full and the waitress let us that the waiting time for food was 30 min. We decided... More

I had a burger and my wife had a hot dog. The hot dog was one of the best we have ever had and the burger was very good as well (but very messy to eat; the mark of a fantastic burger). Worth the drive over from Whistler.
