There is a saying that when you are in a strange town and you need a place to eat you should look for the longest queue and join it. If the locals are prepared to wait in line it must be good. That was what happened to us in Pemberton, BC. Having looked round the town the most attractive place... More

Let's face it, there's not a whole lot in Pemberton, and that includes restaurants. But a local recommended Mile One and I'm glad we listened to her, because the food was excellent. Another reviewer remarked about the "curt" way he or she was told about the ordering procedure, but that was absolutely not the reception my friends and I got.... More

Very good service and food! We were behind a bus tour who had pre ordered but had to pay so it took awhile. Staff did their best to move people thru efficiently and to keep us informed as to how much longer it would be. When we got our food it was all worth it! Excellent burgers and salads. Desserts... I didn't like this place much. The food was ok but we got a curt telling off when we didn't realise the procedure for ordering. Was recommended mac and cheese by our b and b owner but opted for burger and chips which I just didn't enjoy as burger was a bit over done. Cannot fault waitress serving us -... More

Just had a great burger for lunch again at mile one. Great ingredients and an excellent bun make this one of the best places to eat a burger for a very long way. There is a good selection of bc beers to go with the food. definitely somewhere to fill up after a big day in the local mountains.

Local eatery with lots of personality. Food is prepared and served with care. Loved our steak sandwiches and the option to have small glasses of wine (3 oz).
