We stopped here on our way home to Parksville after the Boat Show in Vancouver. The atmosphere was great, lots of people and everyone was enjoying themselves. Service - Excellent. When our food came it was presented wonderfully. I had Seafood Risotto and my husband had Seafood Thai Curry. Very flavorful and good to the last mouthful! For value -... More

Ate here as part of the Dine-Out Vancouver promotion. We were a group of six, our table was ready for us when we arrived, service was excellent. Often at Dine-Out restaurants, we are given smaller portions than normal and not always the best service. At the Olive & Anchor, we had great service and the food was exceptional and we... More

We have been many many times. It is excellent every time. My husband alway has the fish stew. We call it Cioppino. He says it's the best in Vancouver. Sometimes, he will also has 1/2 doz oysters in a variety of sauces. Delicious. I have the sablefish when it's on offer or the tuna salad. A larger choice of Wine... More

We have been to Olive and anchor a few times, this was a pretty average visit. We ordered the lettuce wrapped shrimps and it was so over flavoured and salty that it took away from the meal. The Calamari was another starter we went for and although the flavouring was more subtle it was luke warm again. Everyone else in... More

What an absolutely delicious meal at a great scenic location – I cannot wait to return! I visited with a friend on a drive from Vancouver B.C back to Vancouver, Washington. The name intrigued us as we both love olives! So we stopped in for lunch. We shared the Wild BC Sockeye Smoked Salmon Flatbread (House-made flatbread, capers, sliced red... More

I used to visit Troll's when dining in Horseshoe Bay but have found this restaurant (formerly called Ya-Ya's Oyster Bar) to be of better value and better food/drink selections. Whereas Troll's is more of a diner style with booths predominating, the Olive & Anchor has a good selection of table both near the front of the restaurant and closer to... More

We have eaten here a couple of times over the last couple of months and this has become one of our top choices when looking for a good meal on a reasonable budget. Great food, great service and beautiful view. A real gem and well worth the drive to Horseshoe Bay.

In a small and bucolic village near Vancouver I have had an opportunity to lunch an amazing pacific cod. Strongly recommend for the moments you need some decompression.

We stopped at the Olive & Anchor for a late lunch, on route to Whistler. Our waitress was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. The food arrived quickly & was fantastic. The home made chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, not greasy, and moist inside. They came with great fries & a nicely flavoured sauce. The Pulled BBQ... More

We have enjoyed several meals at Olive & Anchor over the last year and have never been disappointed. This fine restaurant offers a casual, relaxed setting overlooking Horseshoe Bay. The menu is varied and appealing and the food and service is excellent. My favorite is the halibut!
