Good Food/Halibut Lover Warning

We are regulars here and enjoy most of the food items. Unfortunately I experienced an unusual situation when I asked for my fish slightly underdone and the chef refused my request. I felt awkward having to insist on this, as halibut tends to become dried out if it's even slightly overcooked. Thank... read more

I ordered the grilled tofu burger with a green salad. The flavour of the burger was excellent but it was on a brioche bun and there was so many things in the burger. So the burger just fell apart and I had to use a knife and fork (I never eat a burger with a knife and fork!!). But I... More

Me and my family are locals in horseshoe bay and got take out in this past week and just got yam fries. It was a complete RIP OFF we got a double order of the fries and it came in two tiny take out boxes with very very little fries for $13.95. In the past the yam fries use to... More

Ate supper there and it was very good. The service was good. Everyone was very friendly. It was the night of the Canada's women soccer match and the whole places was filled with people cheering their teams on. Even with all the people you still got good service.

My wife & I ate here tonight, my wife eating halibut, reckoning it was the best meal in our 2 week (so far) roadtrip. The staff were attentive & friendly, the whole place had a pleasant buzz of people enjoying themselves. A great evening.

We really like this place. The staff is really friendly and the food is great. It's also really popular in the summer with tourists. The only problem (and it's not necessarily a major issue) is the noise. I guess it's the acoustics or something. There is a small outdoor seating area, which might be better. You could try asking for... More

Friendly staff and Manager. Quick takeout service. Grab and sit on a bench and watch the ferries and people and pets go by. I enjoyed my moist delicious oyster burger very much. The poutine and barbeque chicken burger were enjoyed by others and the cod fish and chips was good but small.
