There was a time when this place was very good. It then went bad. And it then went good again. And now it is bad again. First impressions were not good. Upon arrival you get the feeling they are really sizing you up. Are you worthy of a seat in the front row overlooking the city? Do you rate the... More

The four of us had a variety of salmon, all cooked perfectly. So were the appetizers and the chocolate deserts. Good wine selection, friendly but unobtrusive service, and, of course, the beautiful view of English Bay. Only imperfection? No bread is served; If you are raised Italian, that's a sin. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money (especially if you... More

I went with my wife and my bestman and his wife as a foursome to celebrate our 39th anniversary. We booked The Salmon House through Open Table and requested window seating. The booking was smooth and straightforward with immediate confirmation via email. When we arrived we were seated by the window with a gorgeous view of Stanley Park and Vancouver... More

We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant this year. As always the food is very good, and if you are lucky for a clear day, the views are impressive. I had the salmon special for dinner, and it was very good.

Stunning views. Food is ok but not superb. Views are well worth it though. Service is good. If you want appies and drinks, the lounge is very good and has the great view as well.

A mainstay in Vancouver for its seafood and killer view. The decor hasn't changed in years but sometimes the familiar can be nice. Why fix whats working? The food was good but like many restaurants these days the portions are getting smaller. Some dishes were presented well and others not so much. My friend ordered a caesar salad and it... More
